Nunnie's Garden

This is a painting of a serene garden in which my Grandmother, Nunnie, would meditate at the stone altar in the green grove on a mountain in the Catskills New York State. It was in a hidden place on my Great Grandmother's property, and you had to follow a dirt path to reach it. It always felt like a new discovery each time it came into view.

What’s your opinion on the agreement that allows Priscilla to be buried as close to Elvis as possible without anyone being moved?

this is a touchy subject but all I can say is I personally have nothing against the agreement Priscilla reached with Riley and I understand Priscilla wanting to be with her daughter and grandson. However I find her initial request to be buried directly next to Elvis, meaning either Minnie Mae or Vernon would have had to be moved, appalling🤧

I’m appalled that she thought she was entitled to being buried next Elvis because quote “he was the love of my life”. Priscilla and Elvis were divorced for 4 years before he passed away, so she had absolutely no right to request something like that, especially when it would mean that either his father or grandmother would have to be moved. And I’m very exhausted of the narrative that she was his “widow” and I’ve even seen her being introduced as that on talk shows which is crazy to me… like have some of y’all forgotten what the definition of widow is?? 👀

but I’m glad that Riley Keough promptly rejected Priscilla’s proposal to disturb the graves and like I mentioned I have no issue with the new agreement that they settled on

I have seen some other fans strongly oppose the idea that Priscilla would be buried at mediation garden when the time comes but seeing as Priscilla hasn’t been remarried, and no longer has a long term partner, it makes the most sense that she would be with Lisa Marie, and most importantly, Riley has agreed to it. However, it would blur the lines for any future burials. Would Navarone be buried at Graceland because his mother and half-sister were, even though he has no blood connection to Elvis? I’m not sure how I feel about that but tbh it’s too far in the future to worry about, so I’m just not gonna think about it 😭

I just hope for peace to be maintained for those who have already been put to rest
