I wish I had an extra set of limbs to carry her while I play the bass. ⁠⁠ ⁠⁠ When we were invited to play this live set I was sure that it would be a breeze. We had time to practice, plan, prepare... oh well. I can tell you that there's only one certainty in parenthood and that is: this little bundle of joy will be everything but predictable.⁠⁠ Maybe she could sense that pre-concert anxiety/adrenaline rush, too many stranger faces, more than she's used to on her barely 4 months of life. She was backstage, being cuddled by her nanny. But nothing would make her stop crying – nothing but me. And despite loving to play I love her infinitely more, and I'm still learning to deal with the fact that I won't be able to hold her every single second of her life. ⁠⁠ ⁠⁠ So we played, and the whole time Liv Rose was on my mind.
