11. Trapped in a tomb or mausoleum

 Sadie could never have guessed one of her investigations would get her locked inside a mausoleum.  But that’s exactly where she and Jack were trapped now, having been caught by the criminals they were investigating.  At least they hadn’t been shot, or otherwise harmed, but they’d had their phones, guns, just about anything else that could help them get out taken before the doors were shut and padlocked from the outside.  And it was nearly dark.  No one would likely be coming by for hours.  

“Shit” Sadie swore to herself once they’d been left.  She wasn’t usually one for swearing, but this was a special circumstance.  The mausoleum housed a couple and wasn’t a lot bigger than that, so there wasn’t a lot of room to move around.  The only window was tiny, probably too small to squeeze through, but it was barred over, anyway.  It was almost like being in prison, except creepier.  

“I don’t suppose you have any idea of how to get us out of this situation” she asked Jack, pushing against the doors, even though she knew they wouldn’t open.
