i'm rereading pride and prejudice and i only just now realized how similar my interpretations of darcy and darry are. they're both trying to be slick but kind of fail at it a lot of the time, they adore their siblings, they're emotional but bad at expressing it. and they're both just ... large. uncomfortably so. they'll go out in public and sometimes they're proud of their tallness and sometimes they wish they just be a little smaller. please don't look at them they might die. please.
