When people say, “I don’t care what anyone thinks,” I find it hard to believe! Humans are tribal and we all need love and acceptance. Sure, some more than others, but we all need at least some!!! Hopefully we don’t depend on the approval of others to validate our self worth toooooo much though... but I know it can be hard. 💗 For me, at least, I love myself plenty enough as is. But not perfectly. I have my moments of crushing self doubt. 😞 So, I do appreciate when the ones I love tell me that they love me and that they’re proud of me.
