the drama that would have been averted with a few proper conversations between michael and tommy
#20000x more realistic for their characters for those conversations to have never happened tho :)#i sort of feel like i can feel the twisted bitterness tommy would taste when thinking about michael#that deep knowledge it could have been averted but every opportunity to have done so slipped by. poison cousins indeed#i do get interested the show had tommy kill michael; if it was really about redemption i think tommy would have lowered the gun. not fired#and just left michael there#michael living or dying made no difference to the jack-scam at that point#and if tommy thought he himself was gonna die then would it really matter killing michael (maybe to protect arthur?)#(but still: silly to kill michael and leave gina and jack alive if the motive was protecting the family)#killed michael just because michael tried to kill him. and that was the final nail of grief/loss and consequent disposal#tommy's vague hope that he'd show up and michael wouldn't try to kill him: shattered
