Schlosskonzerte Bad Arolsen: 2020 in der Fürstlichen Reitbahn!

Eröffnen die Schlosskonzerte Bad Arolsen: Das Dejean Quartett | (c) Dejean Quartett Der Volksbildungsring hat sich angesichts der coronabedingten Veranstaltungsauflagen entschieden, die Schlosskonzerte Bad Arolsen im August in der wetterunabhängigen und akustisch optimalen Fürstlichen Reitbahn des Welcome-Hotels zu präsentieren. Dort können unter Einhaltung der aktuellen Abstandsregeln 90 statt der im Steinernen Saal derzeit nur möglichen 30 Zuhörer die Musik genießen. Am Sonntag, 16. August um 19.30 Uhr gastiert das Dejean-Quartett aus Mitgliedern des Kasseler Staatsorchesters mit Flötenquartetten von Mozart, Pleyel und dem in Arolsen geborenen Ernst Eichner. Zwei Wochen später gastieren zur selben Uhrzeit als Gastkonzert des Hessischen Rundfunks die Harfenistin Anne-Sophie Bertrand und der amerikanische Tenor Michael Porter mit Liedern von Beethoven, Fauré, Debussy, Hahn und Britten. Die einstündigen Schlosskonzerte Bad Arolsen finden ohne Pause und Bewirtung statt. Der Zutritt ist nur mit einer im Vorverkauf erworbenen Eintrittskarte und dem vollständig ausgefüllten Registrierungsbogen gestattet. Eine Abendkasse darf nicht geöffnet werden. In der Reitbahn ist Mund- und Nasenschutz zu tragen, der am Sitzplatz abgenommen werden kann. MICHAEL PORTER JR. IS THE NUGGETS X-FACTOR

Michael Porter Jr has been on absolute FIRE all season long. However you split this man's numbers, he is just flat out SNIPER this season. 

MPJ in his last 10 - 26.7 PPG, 6.2 RPG, 56% FG,49% 3PFG. MPJ since Jamal Murray went down- 26.2 PPG, 56% FG 49% 3PFG. MPJ on the season- 19.2 PPG, 55% FG, 44% 3PFG.

He is not a perfect player, and he definitely has WORK to do on defense and as an offensive playmaker. BUT, the effort is there. He manages to get 1 BPG with 0.8 SPG, keeping the fouls low, averaging 2.1 FPG in his last 10. On offense, he's been so decisive with the ball. He catches, and knows exactly which direction he plans to attack the defender. Or he might just pull up. The shot consistency coupled with his size, has made him a hard cover. 

He plays to his strengths. He's not a great passer atm averaging 1.1 APG. But he doesn't force that aspect of his offense, only doing 1.2 Turnovers per game. I was skeptical about MPJ getting such a huge role on the Nuggets so soon, when talks came up about him being the 3rd offensive option on the team I laughed. And then the Nuggets Traded for Aaron Gordon, and Porter Jr's role was looking like it would shrink. But messiah, this guy can shoot. And at this point, his upside is looking unpredictable. 

 MPJ has had 30 6 games in this season MPJ has also taken more than 20 shots 4 times this season. Come playoffs, if the Nuggets can find away to keep getting Porter Jr efficient shots, watch out. X-factor.
