how are you break from social media for 2 years? how are you feeling for your mental health? do you read novels include The Love Hypothesis , grishaverse and cruel prince?

Hi 👋

Yeah I think I needed to have a mental break from posting my art online for a while. It got to be a bit stressful keeping up with fandom and I wanted to draw for only me, not thinking about whether or not I’d be posting it online. Apart from that I was focusing on other things in my life apart from art.

Such as reading yes haha. Ali Hazelwood is one of my fave authors, I loved the Love Hypothesis and her other books as well. I know a lot of people don’t like it, but the fact that I could see the fanfic tendencies in her work actually makes me like it more haha 😂 I do love fanfics!

And yes I love the Cruel Prince, the Folk of the Air series ❤️🖤 Cardan and Jude are just so so fun to read about. And super inspiring! I have had fun drawing them :) I haven’t read Grishaverse, I watched the show and decided to watch rather than read, so I have no plans to read it yet :)

Other than that I’ve really enjoyed books from Margaret Rogerson and Brandon Sanderson and several other authors :)

No, I haven’t read that one 🤷‍♀️. I haven’t really read Inuyasha fanfics in a long time tbh. Inuyasha will always have a special place in my heart ❤️ but at the moment I’m more into other things :)

I watched a few episodes, but stopped fairly quickly. There were some things about the storytelling that bugged me, I'm also not a fan of the sequel where they make the previous heroes (inukag in this case) either absent or bad parents, in order for the new protagonists to have a sad backstory or something. I was really excited when I first heard about it, but ended up not liking it 🤷🏻‍♀️

I'll stick to the OG inuyasha :p there's quite a lot there so 😏

But good for you if you liked it :)

I saw you like the art for Chapter 8 the best, and I have to say that I adore the color palette for that piece--I think you have shown us that we all need Inu in a gold shirt more often 🌟❤️💛
