The pioneering musician formed R&B label Philadelphia International Records (PIR) with his long time partner #LeonHuff in 1971 and created the "Philly Sound". PIR's stable included The O'Jays, Billy Paul, Harold Melvin And The Bluenotes, The Three Degrees, The Jones Girls and PIR's house band MFSB (Mother, Father, Sister, Brother) to name a few. Gamble also formed Mighty Three Publishing with Huff and fellow PIR songwriter Thom Bell.  Kenny is renowned for his humanitarian works for both civic and charitable causes ... notably the "Clean Up The Ghetto" project. He was inducted into "Rock And Roll Hall of Fame" in 2008. Currently he continues to write music with Leon Huff.
