I was so excited about Speak Now TV because Speak Now has some of my favorite tracks on it but the rerecord just isn't landing the same. Idk if it's Me not being in the same stage of life as the original or if the album is just Different
The production feels a little more subdued and Her Vocals while amazing don't have the same emotional edge as they did.
It makes perfect sense for a recording from her revisiting these songs at 33. She doesn't hold the same hurt or contention anymore but for me it takes from the experience
