i NEED to see Armand laughing out loud, head thrown back, maybe even giggling at something Daniel said while Loustat are in the room, turning to each other in surprise like "did you ever see him like this??"
broke: assad played armand that way because dm happened and he sees young daniel whenever he looks at daniel now and that's why he smiles like that in that scene it was all kind of a preparation for the reveal in s3 and writing makes sense too if you think-
woke: assad wants dm to happen so much that he thought if he plays like it did and makes it believable enough writers could be manipulated into writing it
Me: [sees everyone talking about how Assad Zaman was "literally" coming up with RPF about himself and Eric Bogosian in an interview]
Me: ah, fandom's doing its little "interpret an innocent comment in Some Kind Of Way" thing again, let's go find the video and do our own critical thinking about what was actually said here--
Assad: What would happen if I said-- [words that cannot be interpreted as anything but RPF fanfic]
okay. imagine this. you're twenty. you're the highest that you've Ever been. most of the blood in your body has been drained. by a vampire. those are real. you can't move your own body. you're in an extraordinary amount of pain. and!! and. you're face to face with The scariest man in the world. he's super hot. he looks at you and says, "I'm told you've lived a fascinating life!" what do you say in response? nothing?? immediately plead for your life?? cry a little?? well, let me tell you something. that exact scenario happened to my good friend Daniel Molloy, and what HE said was, "...I never said that."
the idea of armand keeping daniel human so he can enjoy life and have experiences like raising a family and then being like. completely aghast that he has two daughters is so funny to me
i want armand to start leaving victims on daniel's doorstep (like a cat would with mice) next season. like armand is feeling guilty about turning daniel but he WILL make sure daniel still gets his nutrients. he is his fledgling after all.
imo Karkat's a bit of a badass motherfucker, I know he's dog shit at actually winning a fight but he's consistently the first one to jump into the fray no matter how outclassed he is by the enemy
You'd like to be one of us? They always think they are different. Stronger, superior. Until the loneliness comes in. You'll be a monster. Will you eat humans like you eat your apple? One a night. No pity for the child, for the mother, for the invalid? How will you choose whom to kill? And when the last remnants of your era are gone? The cars, the hairstyles, the beliefs? How will you go on? How will you survive eternity?
