FEATURED PROJECT: Here is one of our favorites this week! This painting is huge and heavy and was going to need some mass to support it. The client also wanted something that felt lighter in appearance and subtly played to the blue within the painting. Ken came up with this innovative solution using the Larson Juhl H4 profile. By installing the canvas on top of the frame the deep scoop of the frame allowed the customer to get the light floating appearance they desired while having the necessary mass the painting required. The silver panel reflected the gallery wrapped side of the painting...perfectly providing the nod to the blue we were striving to accent.
