Cutting people’s reach does not make your users want to invest money in advertising. I’ll tell you why. If you were showing my posts to the 53k people who are already following me, I’d think it’s worth investing some money in advertising because I’d know that any new followers gained via advertising on IG or FB would actually see my posts afterwards. But if you’re not sharing my posts with the people already following me, what is the point of me investing money to get more followers who won’t see my posts? #logic • On the other hand, if my posts were being seen by the majority of my followers (instead of 20%), and I wanted to further my reach, I’d happily pay for advertising now & then. When will companies learn that blackmail & punishment is not a good business model? Serving your users well is great for business because - guess what? They’ll trust you. And when people trust a company, they become loyal to it and spend more money with that company. NEW CHAPTER ☺✨🙊 … As you all know we got married last year and on that very day a new life has begun. Our baby Miro is arriving in few weeks time so I am taking some time off from my first and precious Mint Sparrow💙We are so lucky! The minty shop has a fantastic partner, Rosa Maria who is a well-known artist but most importantly a great friend of mine.
