I do think that it is incredibly interesting that Miquella is seemingly just straight-up immune to the Scarlet Rot.
Like, he has been by Malenia's side all his life even before he was born, together in the womb, and yet there is no record nor indication that he ever caught the Rot. No missing limbs or scarring... nothing.
So then I start wondering why, he, in particular, is immune and it could be one of these several reasons:
Curses can't stack. Miquella is already cursed with eternal childhood so that means he can't be afflicted with Scarlet Rot at the same time. Something something Outer Gods powers/essence can't intermingle possibly????
Because of his eternal childhood curse the Rot cannot take a hold of him because his body is constantly being renewed/is eternally pure.
My blood theory, where Unalloyed Gold comes from Miquella's blood. So from a scientific perspective, since he was exposed to Scarlet Rot while in the womb his body developed enzymes which could combat/neutralize the rot thus making him immune. Awfully savvy of Miquella to purify his blood and natural immunity even further, to make it so every Outer Gods influence is nullified.

My take on Miquella, a warm-up before I'm heading out to more complicated ideas.
Playing Elden Ring for the first time and enjoying it a lot!

Miquella 3/10
St. Trina is an enigmatic figure. Some say she is a comely young girl, others are sure he is a boy.
I want to emphasize St Trina/Miquella’s androgyny and transgender-like figure in this piece, with the purple hue as the main color.
