let's see, for the character ask: melissa or midnight?

Just as I did for Midoriya and Todoroki, I'll do both! First, Melissa Shield!

👓Favorite thing about them: Melissa is a total sweetheart, so brave, and I do admire how she makes do being quirkless. She's also a total genius!

👓Least favorite thing about them: I can't hate anything about her at all, honestly. Really the only thing I don't like is that she's only a movie character, so like Rody, we probably won't see her again in another animated appearance. I do remember she was featured in one of the Team-Up Missions and another piece of the manga, forgot what it was.

👓Favorite line: When she called All Might "Uncle Might", that was the cutest thing to me.

👓BrOTP: I really like the relationship she and Midoriya had in the movie, so of course that's on here. Also, her and Hatsume. Those two could do some serious damage (in a good way, of course) together.

👓OTP: I actually don't have one for her. I know people ship her with Midoriya, and I'm not totally against it. It just... doesn't stick for me. But not enough to be a nOTP.

👓nOTP: Again, I don't have one for her.

👓Random headcanon: You cannot tell me she doesn't look like she doesn't have a lot of notebooks laying around, highlighters and pens handy. Like Midoriya, I just know she also carries a notebook around ready to jot down anything so she doesn't forget.

👓Unpopular opinion: I think she deserves her own special episode. Be it a backstory, or her cameo-ing in a filler. Melissa is a fun character.

👓Song I associate with them: I haven't watched any MCU films in forever, but I know her last time is a reference to SHIELD from the Marvel franchise. Because of that, in a comical way, the Avengers theme pops up in my head.

👓Favorite picture of them: Like I'm going to go with one!

Now for Midnight!

💋Favorite thing about them: I actually would love to have her quirk, I think it's pretty cool. Also, I do find her pretty badass! Her hero name seals it for me. "Midnight". It's one of my favorite words!

💋Least favorite thing about them: I don't like how she's portrayed around the students. It's just... weird. Althought, I do know she cares for the kids. Just her behavior is questionable... I'm just realizing the next season is gonna break me.

💋Favorite line: Her whole fight with Mt. Lady is actually one of my favorite scenes with her because it's hilarious to me. Also, her performance during episode 20 in season 3. That, too, is hilarious to me.

And I can't forget her telling Bakugo his first hero name is too violent.

💋brOTP: I see quite a bit of art with her being Aizawa and Present Mic as a chaotic trio and I live for it. Which bothers me why she wasn't called to see Kurogiri. I mean, I do get it because she was an upperclassman, but she was involved in his previous life, too. She was his senpai just as she was Aizawa's and Yamada's. It's like if Mirio was in the hospital and Midoriya didn't come see him despite building a friendship. It was just weird to me! She mourned for him, too!

💋OTP: Okay, I think I read one or two fics with her and Ms. Joke as a couple and I don't know why, but I rock with that.

💋nOTP: Eh, I really don't have one. Wait, change my mind. I do! Just like with Miruko, I see a lot of fics pairing her with Midoriya and that's an immediate NO for me. Like... WHY?!!

💋Random headcanon: She seems like an 'occasional' drinker to me. Like she will only drink at events or maybe a night out. Also, I doubt she smokes. She wants to take care of her body.

💋Unpopular opinion: It's a racy uniform, but one change from the manga to the anime I do like is her uniform is white and not skin colored. It suits her better really. I also like her hair. It lowkey reminds me of Madara's. Spiky and long.

💋Song I associate with them: Look me in the eyes right now and tell me this woman would not listen to 'Body' by Megan Thee Stallion on repeat.
