Abella is performing as a singer in a new Mexican restaurant in Naples. It opened up not too long ago but they’ve been in need of some form of entertainment for their customers. Abella required a part time job seeing as her occupation currently wasn’t in her favor. She required more money than she thought she would need for her boutique she wanted to open up in Naples. As a treasure hunter she was failing in the funds department. She would travel outside of Naples if she didn’t have to worry about food or a roof over her head.

She is where she is at now performing as a singer at the restaurant to save her career and the boutique she promised her co-owner/bestie. She must save up enough to do more exploration of Italy to continue her pursuits in treasure hunting. The boutique means a lot to her since her best friend and herself always wanted their line of clothing to be well known outside of the town they both grew up in. Though their business is excellent in France Abella had duties to take care of in Italy.

The owner was nice enough to let her practice before opening hours. He had given her a week to practice. It was more than enough since it wasn’t her first time performing. She enjoyed the musicians she was assigned to work with. They’re friendly and easy to work alongside her while she’s singing. The biggest help to her was the support of her friends she managed to make in Italy. They would watch her practice almost everyday. She’s thankful to them for all they’ve done for her while she's been in Italy. She wouldn’t be here right now if they hadn’t saved her life.

Abella stood behind a red velvet curtain nervously. It’s a full house and it’s so loud in the restaurant. Word got around Naples about the new entertainment a singer would bring to the restaurant. The stage is set up but the musicians are taking five. Leaving her alone with her friend Giorno. Their other friends were busy tonight due to various reasons but Giorno said he would make it tonight since it was her first night performing. He knows she is a bit nervous and could use the support. Giorno is also going to surprise her. Fugo, Mista, and Narancia were able to come too. He was able to change around everyone's schedules so they would be free tonight. Trish, Bruno, and Abbacchio couldn’t make it since they had important tasks to take care of. The two mafioso left five days prior for a mission meanwhile Trish was visiting a friend in America.

The curly haired female notices Fugo out in the audience. She is horrified knowing he'll see her sing. She knows exactly why Fugo is here. She is panicking to Giorno knowing why he would invite Fugo. The blonde don is good at reading people and he quickly noticed the longing looks she would give his good friend, Fugo. He understood her feelings since Fugo was the one to save her and unknowingly charm her with his conversations they would often share. Giorno also noticed her shy demeanor around Fugo as she is now.

The golden boy simply smiled at his petite friend who is grabbing the fabric of his expensive suited jacket and shaking his torso dramatically. He knows it’s an act out of flusteredness but he does understand he’s the reason Fugo is here to watch her sing. Abella has mentioned being too shy to sing around Fugo. She wouldn’t invite Fugo to her practices and no one questioned it with how she is around him. Her feelings were so obvious even Narancia knew how smitten she was with Fugo. Abella is currently taking out her over reaction on Giorno. She hasn’t stopped shaking him comically because he won’t stop laughing.

"Giorno, why did you invite Fugo!? I'm going to embarrass myself in front of him! He makes me so nervous! You know this!” Her face is red and she can’t control the fast beating of her heart.

She places the tips of her fingers on her chin, sweating. She is realizing the song she will be singing is about romance. Now her mind is going to drama queen mode. Giorno’s turquoise eyes see her thoughts peek in her mind as her brown eyes widen in fear. He lightly laughed, paying no mind to her jaw dropping. Abella is a dramatic one and he finds it funny how she reacts to her first world problems. He knew she wouldn’t be angry with him since he’s trying to do her a favor.

“He's never heard me sing before! What if I trip..?! Or worse he tries talking to me after! I won't know what to say! What if I stutter this time? Giorno..? Why are you laughing?!”

The blonde is simply laughing at his friend, choosing to comfort her with a pat on the head. He is used to Abella being dramatic and nervous about Fugo. He gives her reassuring words knowing how Panacotta feels about her.

"Your performance will be grand. You will notice your hard work and dedication paid off. I've seen your talent for myself. You will do wonderful."

Abella gulps but does ease up hearing his words. She looks to Giorno with slight relief, feeling hopeful. Her brown eyes are full of gratitude.

"Thank you... I appreciate you taking the time out of your busy schedule to visit when I practice. You and the others that is. B-but Fugo is out there... "

"Do not worry. I'm sure you will impress him."

"You really think so?"

"But of course. It's why I invited him."

She turns red at his words, images of Fugo flying into her mind. Giorno chuckles when she starts nervously expressing various scenarios she thought up in her head. All about how she’ll fail and embarrass herself in front of Fugo. Giorno gives her some more words of encouragement before it’s time for her to get ready.

She thanks him for his help but she’s secretly wishing Giorno’s match making attempt wouldn’t make her feel so nervous before her performance. Why did it have to be tonight? She touches up her makeup with a sigh, calming her racing heart. Her determination to impress Fugo runs through her mind. She’ll put her all into her performance. Her heart and soul will go into her singing. She's really hopeful she might impress Fugo. He's always impressing her with his intelligence and advise.

She begins her warm ups before the owner makes the announcement about tonight’s performance. Schedules for performances are listed for the rest of the night so the owner announced them as well. After the introduction the red curtains open revealing the musicians and Abella at the center of the stage.

Abella may face the audience but she’s too focused on the song. She must remind herself how she is singing about love, passion, and the longing for romance. The music begins and Abella brings the mic in her hand near her glossy lips. Her facial expressions show that of a romantic longing for true love. The first lyrics begging for her true love to understand how she feels. Her Spanish left her lips so effortlessly as she did her best to convey the feelings of every word she sings.

Fugo and Giorno sit at the same table together near the front of the stage. Narancia and Mista are stuffing their faces with the endless buffet of Mexican food curtesy of their best friend/boss. They smile when they notice their friend on the stage about to sing her heart out. Giorno is drinking his alcoholic beverage quietly. His observant eyes notice how Fugo’s eyes light up once he see’s Abella. Giorno smiles to himself knowing his friend will speak to her after.

Abella wears black high waisted pants with a big bedazzled belt buckle. It shines as does the matching bedazzled bustier she wears. No doubt an homage to her favorite singer with the same fashion. Abella designed the bustier herself. It’s black and the rhinestones used, cover the lower half of the bustier. They connect at the center to create an image of a heart. Her healed boots are also a nod to her favorite singer. The red roses on her hair match the color of her long painted nails. Her lightly tanned skin radiates due to the spotlight and help of her bedazzled outfit.

Abella’s eyes do not look to the audience, she is too busy drawing attention to her dancing. Her boots glide across the stage to dance as she sings. She memorized all the dance movements of the original artist who performed the song years ago. Abella did add her own dance movements to the performance but she didn’t want to leave out the longing for true love as she was singing.

As Abella was finishing the final lyrics to the song she noticed couples in the background slow dancing. The audience begins cheering once she finishes her song. She smiles bashfully to the audience. She notices that her friends are loudly cheering her on. To her surprise a couple roses are thrown on stage. One being from Fugo as her eyes widened in disbelief.

She held the roses in her hand with such appreciation. She thanked the audience in Spanish then again in Italian. She walked off stage with a huge smile on her face as there was more applause. Abella is blushing as she looks to the roses. One is pink and the other is red. The red rose from a kind elderly lady. The pink rose is from Fugo. She’s wondering how he could possibly know what her favorite flower is until she thinks about how she told Trish and Giorno they’re her favorite.

Abella is backstage in front of the travel sized make shift vanity she carries in a case. It has legs so it can be adjusted to her short height. She keeps her makeup and other essentials in the large case. She’s thankful her performance went well but she didn’t have the guts to look at Fugo while she was performing. She sighs wishing she was brave enough to confess to him. It’s easy to talk to Fugo but her tongue begins to tie when she desires to tell him how she feels.

She sat on her stool wondering how long her friends would be here. She’s supposed to perform again in fifteen. The musicians on stage are performing as a mariachi band. She can hear people are dancing and cheering to the music. She then thought about the song she was singing on stage.

“I can sing so passionately about love yet my voice leaves me when it’s time to confess my longing for love with him..” She thought to herself as she looks in the mirror with a saddened expression.

She looks to her hand, staring longingly at the rose Fugo had given to her. She smells it with a smile on her face. The smell of pink roses always brings her joy. The scent relaxes her, cheering her up a bit.

“Pardon me..” Fugo walks toward her with an awkward smile.

He noticed how she was smelling the rose with a smile on her face. She looks surprised to see him but he pays no mind to it. Abella is surely shocked, she begins to get nervous.

“Hi Fugo..” She quietly greets him.

“Your performance was amazing. Did you like the rose?” He asks with a bashful expression on his face.

Abella didn’t miss his bashfulness. Fugo is never bashful around her. He’s only ever blushed at nicknames she’s given him but she was used to it. She gives everyone nicknames even strangers but it’s so normal to her. The nicknames come out so naturally.

“Gracias, Fugo. The rose is so thoughtful. I really appreciate it, sweetheart.”

She felt so embarrassed by how much her heart is beating. She taps her toe on the ground to try distracting herself. Abella is currently hiding her hands behind her back. Her hands are shaking from how nervous he’s making her feel. She doesn’t want to embarrass herself in front of him. Fugo is now blushing at the nickname. Her Spanish was nice listening to. Sometimes they’d speak Spanish together.

“Your appreciation for the rose is noted..” He spoke hesitantly since her nickname for him caught him off guard. He still isn’t used to the nicknames given to him.

Fugo does enjoy her nicknames but he can’t say them so effortlessly as Abella does. She has nicknames for everyone even their friends. He doesn’t want to over think it since he’s seen her call waiters, “dear” or “babe”. She never directed those particular nicknames to him. She’s always called him strawberry boy or cutie. Sometimes she’ll call him “sweetie” too. She rarely ever calls him by name. She calls the others “sweethearts” or “honey” but she tells him the nickname more often. One importance he looked over is how often she gives him nicknames.

As Fugo is thinking to himself, he failed to hear Abella talking to him. She was expressing her gratitude for his support. She boldly complimented him and called him tesoro. She thought she made him uncomfortable.

“S-Sorry..” She stuttered, wishing she didn’t make him uncomfortable nor stutter in front of him.

“Why are you apologizing?”

“I thought I made you uncomfortable.”

“I believe I’ve failed to hear your words. I was deep in thought about a particular subject.”

“I understand, cutie. Do you need a tissue? Your forehead is sweating.”

Fugo’s eyes widened. It’s a big sign of his over thinking. He decides he’ll let go of the “subject” he was thinking about until later.

“I’d appreciate it greatly.”

He wipes off the sweat from his face as Abella repeats what she was telling him. She hesitated at first but she knew she had to say it. She’s had enough of embarrassing herself in front of him. She’s already done so enough in the past.

“I was saying I think you dressed really nice, tesoro. I don’t normally see you in dark suits but I wish I did.” She smiled playfully.

Fugo felt as though the wind was knocked out of him and he couldn’t breath for a second. His eyes widened but he regained his composure when Abella giggles. She knows he’s flustered.

“You really think so?” He asked without thinking. Her giggle distracted him.

“Of course.” She giggles again at his awkwardness.

He regrets not complimenting her back. She really caught him off guard. Fugo is feeling a tad foolish but he’s thankful she’s giggling. Abella thinks Fugo looks so cute right now. If he was this easy to fluster she would’ve tried making it happen more often. The compliment did give Fugo the encouragement to ask her to dance with him.

“Bella I was wondering if you’d like to dance with me.”

She hadn’t expected the nickname in return. She stood up and smiled his direction. She held her hands in her lap.

“You’d really want to?”

“Si, why not? Perhaps you could tell me about the next song you’ll be singing?”

“S-sure Fugo. Did you really mean what you said about my performance.?”

He places a comforting hand to her shoulder and smiles in reassurance. His face lights up remembering how she was singing. He blushed thinking back to her song of romance.

“Yes, your singing was wonderful.”

Abella’s brown eyes looked up at Fugo with endearment. He rarely gives her a big smile. She’s flattered to be the cause of it. She was so surprised by his actions that it seemed too good to be true. She placed the tips of her fingers near her mouth while a small gasp left her.

“Thank you so much.”

“No need to thank me. We could dance after your next performance too if you’d like.”

“You’d really want to? I’d love to!” She smiles whole heartedly.

He holds her hand, looking to her eyes sweetly. Abella gasps again and she feels as though she is dreaming. His smile doesn’t leave his face and she wonders if Fugo really is holding her hand. Her eyes light up transforming into hearts. Fugo wouldn’t be able to see it for himself but it’s obvious she’s in love.

The two walk out from back stage to the dance floor where many others are dancing. Families, couples, and friends its a delight to see. Fugo and Abella dance together with obvious bashfulness for each other. Many of the customers recognize her as the singer and smile their way.

Giorno notices Fugo taking Abella to the dance floor and holding her hand. The golden don smiles, content his little plan worked. Narancia points out Fugo and Abella to Mista who’s nodding with encouragement. Giorno laughs as Narancia is completely speechless for once. Mista wraps his arm around Giorno’s shoulders.

“You‘re the reason they’re dancing together, aren’t you?”

“The opportunity presented itself and I simply wished to help my friends.” Giorno drinks his margarita with a smirk.

“Well aren’t you a wingman? Why not be my wingman and make me a rose too? I see a hottie on the dance floor who needs my number.”

Giorno lets out a laugh but makes the rose out of a napkin on the table. Mista bids his friend goodbye so he can get the number of the beautiful stranger nearby. Narancia takes a seat at the table wondering how Giorno got someone like Fugo the confidence to dance with his crush.

“Ya know Giorno. You’re impressive. I don’t know how you managed to get Fugo to ask her to dance with him. Fugo is such a stiff. He’s lucky I taught him how to dance.” Narancia said as he rests both arms on the empty chairs beside him.

Giorno’s legs are cross as he’s seated across Narancia. He’s smiling at his friend, knowing he’s secretly happy for Fugo too. Narancia much like the others was secretly rooting for the two.

“It’s about time they’ve danced together and do the mushy stuff like hold hands. Any longer and I would’ve told Fugo something so he’d finally tell her.”

“It seems Fugo required a small push is all.”

“If you say so Giorno. If you ask me, I still think he took too long. You going to eat those tacos by the way?”

“They’re Miata’s.”

“Great!” Narancia pays no mind to Giorno as he stuffs his face with Mistas food.

Giorno looks to Abella and Fugo who are holding hands as they dance together. He knows they’re going to thank him from the bottom of their hearts. He’s happy for them. He’s also happy to get a night off of being a don too. Giorno’s match making would be repaid with an I owe you from Fugo and a new tailored suit custom made by Abella herself.

Imo hes friends with narancia pretty closely! i think a lot of the time hes a bit too much for gio (with how loud he can get and how gio is quiet a lot of the time), but i think they def are friendly! he and trish are besties and i think the whole body swap arc thingie helped them kinda be in each others shoes (literally) and understand each other a lot better!

💞- love language hcs

affection! hes v v affectionate to anyone and his friends r no exception!! he does know boundaries tho and wont be super huggy if his friends dont like it!

🚪- Living space hcs

lots of warm colors! lots of oranges and reds! its very warm and cozy, i am convinced he has the following: shag rug, bean bag chair, overstuffed couch thats rly old. i think he like has carpet but has rugs over top the carpet! he def diy painted his walls (holding onto the hc of diy mista till i die) and has a few paintings but mostly posters!

Abbacchio:

fugo! i think they both can understand each other pretty well and he enjoys spending time w him! he obviously loves bruno and holds their friendship at the same level of importance as their romantic relationship! i think he gets along w nancia and mista at times but its not as close as he is w the other two!

quality time! i dont see him as a super affectionate person and while he might give gifts on occasion, i feel he just treasures time with the people around him!

since its shared with bruno, its not super dark although he has some accents that are! i feel they have a black accent wall and backsplash in their kitchen but its mostly a blue and purple space!

OMG I WOULD LOVE TO THANK U FOR GIVING ME AN EXCUSE TO KIND PERSON

i genuinely think avdol would become a good mentor figure for everyone in the buccigang, including and not limited to bruno and abbacchio. giorno and him are probably closest tho,,,but i also do like the idea of fugo and avdol being close cause i like to think fugo reminds avdol of himself when he was younger (this is more headcanony than canon stuff tho)

as for actual plot stuff and how avdol would affect it;;;;;; due to avdol’s competence, no one dies <3 sorry araki but nara bruno and abbacchio are alive now. I'm still trying to work out the details regarding how he could prevent bruno’s death tho. maybe bruno will still have to die but I'm thinking about it

ALSO bc of avdol’s influence i think fugo would hum and haw over if he should go with the bucci gang some more. i dont think he actually will tag along completely, BUT he doesnt just leave he just does some sniffing around from the inside. they’ll meet up again later rather than fugo tagging along from the beginning. like fugo is like “yall r crazy. let me do sum research and ill get back to you” and maybe fugo finds polnareff that way (lmfao could u imagine. pol gets kakyoin flashbacks)

lots of kakyoin flashbacks actually. this would really be a bone breaker if this is an au where kakyoin is still dead

ANYWAY. since I'm still not sure abt the details of avdol’s impact on the PLOT, lemme get into character dynamics

giorno: big mentor figure, probably steals some (a lot) of bruno’s thunder in this regard. giorno just rlly respects him and avdol acknowledges giorno is a very hardworking kiddo (which giorno appreciates). i imagine he grows very fond of him throughout the events of va. idk if it would ever cross the line of mentor-protegee to father-son but regardless they're rlly close and giorno values his opinions a lot when he becomes the don even tho avdol says he doesnt wanna be involved in mafia business (and he doesnt but he cares more about the well being of his kids ie the buccigang than staying away from organized crime)

fugo: fugo is like a crazy thrashing dog that is going insane and yet never turns to nip at its owner who is holding it back (in this case that is avdol). yea i imagine avdol and fugo have a good relationship Eventually but it takes fugo some time understandably to accept/warm up to it cause of his issues with authority figures and how they've done him dirty before. avdol is nothing if not a patient man tho and i imagine fugo eventually comes to rlly trust him which is why he decides to squirrel around to get buccigang some info on the inside of the gang rather than disembark completely

narancia: nara would be as hostile as he can be at first i feel like cause he might think avdol is trying to replace bruno but once he learns avdol is a) not in the gang and will never be in the gang he’s not trying to take anyone’s position and b) sees BRUNO warm up 2 avdol, he accepts him very fast. it’s like a switch flipped it’s v sudden and intense change in demeanor. avdol is kinda surprised but like he’ll take it. avdol thinks nara is very funny and he helps him out w schooling when fugo is gone. avdol also listens to nara’s music w him and gives him recommendations which narancia is SUPER HAPPY ABT cause no one was willing to talk music with him before (indulge him and let HIM talk abt it yes, but never respond in turn and have a conversation before). nara loves avdol and avdol loves him in return. fun family (:

mista: hmm i cant see mista and avdol being suuuper close?? at least not at first but they def get along. but when avdol gets comfortable enough w the buccigang to do his funky fun smartass stuff sometimes (like how he was during the judgement fight) mista and him get a LOT closer. mista thinks avdol is the funniest man on the planet and they can have good talks. avdol is a good person to think out loud with which i think mista kinda needs. also I'm sure avdol is enamored with the sex pistols. not many stands can even talk yet these lil guys have outright personalities of their own. avdol joins mista during feeding time just cause he’s rlly intrigued by these lil guys. mista was a little weirded out at first but since warming up to avdol he doesnt mind (:

trish: HIS DAUGHTER NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!! he’s got the age, he’s got the kindness, he’s got the patience, he’s got the respect, HE!!!!!! IS. HER DAD NOW. avdol might've laid the sympathy on a little too thick when they first met so trish might not have liked him much at first, but he notices she’s rlly stressed out and talks her thro it/lets her speak her mind which is rlly nice. trish hasn't ever had anyone prompt her to lose her shit before helping her to piece back together again but tis nice. when trish is supposed to be dropped off with diavolo, she actually hugs avdol (: also when trish awakens spice girls u BET avdol is rooting her on and helping her get more comfortable w her stand. avdol is thinks spice girls is rlly fuckin cool and combined w spice girls and avdol’s guidance, trish actually gets rlly handy at using her stand. pls imagine magician’s red and spice girls just chilling. thanks. anyway if avdol were to legally adopt ANYONE in the buccigang it would be trish. trish lives w him after va

abbacchio: i don't think avdol and abbacchio would be besties but bruno trusts him and narancia likes him so i think abbacchio wouldn't hate him despite them first meeting bc of giorno lolol. so like they're civil but i cant imagine their interactions getting warmer until after avdol tags along when they split up from the gang. abbacchio is like “why tf r u even still here” and avdol is like “YOURE the oldest here and ur only 21 u need an actual adult. no but i just wanna watch over the kids and make sure they're safe” abbacchio respects that. also avdol encouraging trish to train w spice girls is why trish is able to keep abbacchio from getting a fist through the torso (she makes him rubbery as spice girls can do so he can withstand the punch king crimson gives him) and he's kinda grateful bc of that to both abbacchio And trish. uhh yeah. lol. also avdol has good taste in wine which abbacchio can respect

bruno: FINALLY the man himself. for a long time he is just politely friendly towards avdol cause idk if bruno would know how to deal w someone who would be more likely to be a mentor to Him rather than vice versa but as avdol and him spend more time together and watch over the kiddos and abbacchio together they get more comfortable. idk if they’d ever get close close but bruno can rely on avdol and he does during the final fight. when they come out victorious bruno kinda promises him he’ll always have a home in italy if he needs anywhere to rest it’d be sweet (: avdol in turn would say if ur ever in egypt just ask around and u’ll find me

anyway uhhhhh yeah. i hope u enjoyed reading all this fjkdnjc;n i just think. avdol is very loveable and very cool and he would've added a lot to part 5 in my opinion,,,,

The first character I first fell in love with: hmm, i remember really liking kira before i started watching? in terms of actually watching it, def dio (sorry for having shit taste xoxo) like hes just funny and pitiful and i cant fix him but i can put him on a lawnmower. i remember also really liking vanilla ice (again sorry for bad taste ajdsfsd) before i was watching and still do.
