“Baywatch” 065 (1993)
Soap opera, with a lot of action in the mix.
In the b-story, CJ becomes a model. Meaning we get some very sexy montages with Pamela Anderson. One uses Glenn Frey music and is spectacular. Another sequence is basically porn. Probably the furthest the show has gone. As a storyline, it works fine. No surprises in how ends, but Anderson is consistently good. Better than I would have given her credit for in the 1990s. CJ is such a sweet and naïve character.
In the a-story, Summer befriends a kickboxer who gets invited to an illegal bout. Summer definitely has a type - athletes who can't act! The story gives just as much screentime to Matt and Mitch. There's a bad guy from Mitch's past. Second episode in a row to mention his time in the Navy SEALs. There are several fight scenes. All pretty good. In slow motion, too. The final one, in the hotel of a kitchen, is unintentionally hilarious.
Kickboxing is a bad fit for Baywatch, but you gotta admire the show's willingness to try any type of story. There's a great vibe in this episode, with the four key characters characters hanging out and clearly liking one another a lot. CJ repeatedly goes to Mitch for advice, and those scenes are cute.
No Stephanie, Hobie, Garner, Slade or Jackie in this one.

Songs for Halloween Parties
Halloween parties offer the most wide open subject possibilities of any type of celebration. Halloween is the one day of the year that lets you be any living thing or dead thing, any occupation, any human or non-human and any personality type. You can be a cartoon character if you like. Since Halloween can go hundreds of different directions, the playlist will likely be a diverse list of novelty songs. Notably, this is sadly far from the first time, I have seen absurd Holocaust, Nazism and Fascism references in connection with the current shelter in place restrictions.
But, wow, do I hate almost all Holocaust comparisons and references.
Note to anyone not an abject antisemite, unless you are talking about something like the Armenian Genocide or the Hutu mass murder of 800,000 Tutsi in Rwanda, you should never make Holocaust comparisons or references. You are just trivializing the Holocaust and the attempt to try to enslave and mass murder all of the world’s Jews, that led to fully 1/3 of the Jews in the entire world being murdered in under 4 years.
Micha Mitch Danzig

Seriously? WTF?? A "protestor" against Illinois' Stay-at-Home order, had a sign that said "Arbeit Mach Frei, JB."
Arbeit Mach Frei. Three German words that translate to "Work makes you free," but have a completely different meaning. These words were posted at the gates of most NAZI concentration camps, such as Dachau, Auschwitz, and Sachsenhausen, among others.
Yeah, let that sink in for a minute.
Oh, and Governor Pritzker, referenced with the JB? He is also Jewish.
Disgusting. I'd like to think this person is just a covidiot, but I am not giving that the person a free pass for such a vile reference to genocide. Apparently those protesting the governor's efforts to keep us safe -- on a day in which more than 3,000 new cases were confirmed - are the equivalent of neo-Nazis.
Antisemitism must be called out whenever it is encountered.

OC Ship Tag Game
Huge thanks to @violetcancerian @eb-reign @keen2meecha @milkyway-writes for tagging me in this!!
Rules: bold the themes that apply to your ship, and italicize the theme if it’s one-sided, within your story.
Oh boy, there’s a bunch of ships I could do, but the real irony is that most of them belong to a WIP I haven’t bothered introducing LMAO. I’ll limit myself to 3 ships. So, without further ado:
Bull/Ling (Rules for Living in Winter)
height difference / mutual pining / first kiss / wedding / in-jokes / lgbt+ / family disapproves / would die for each other (hard mode: will live for each other) / would kill for each other / fake relationship / arranged wedding / cuddlers / pda friendly / and they were roommates / holding hands / secret relationship / opposing world views / getting a pet / have kids / want kids / grow old together / relationship failures / rests head on shoulder / share a bed / token dummies / relationship doubts / they have a song / first date / sharing a blanket / mutual interests / study buddies / bathing together / crash into hello (I believe a train robbery and kidnapping counts...) / accidental nudity / laundry / same hobbies / cooking for each other / big fancy gala / sibling rivalry / hair stroking / sitting on each other’s laps / sexual tension / can’t be together / age gap / battle couple / Friends to Lovers / Enemies to Lovers / Lovers to Enemies / keeping secrets / love after loss / exes / declaration of love / flirting / love triangle / destructive romance / envy / “I Don’t Want to Ruin Our Friendship” / shared values / slow burn / does not end well / happily ever after / love letters (I mean there WEREN’T but this gave me a great idea for Bull so now there are)
Mato/Nico/Percy (Rules for Living in Winter)
height difference / mutual pining / first kiss / wedding / in-jokes / lgbt+ / family disapproves / would die for each other / would kill for each other / fake relationship / arranged wedding / cuddlers / pda friendly / and they were roommates / holding hands / secret relationship / opposing world views / getting a pet / have kids / want kids / grow old together / relationship failures / rests head on shoulder / share a bed / token dummies / relationship doubts / they have a song / first date / sharing a blanket / mutual interests / study buddies / bathing together / crash into hello / accidental nudity / laundry / same hobbies / cooking for each other / big fancy gala / sibling rivalry / hair stroking / sitting on each other’s laps / sexual tension / can’t be together (let’s just say Nico’s not quite sure what’s going on at first...) / age gap / battle couple / Friends to Lovers / Enemies to Lovers / Lovers to Enemies / keeping secrets (Mr. Internal has a type, and that type is People Who Value Communication, god damnit) / love after loss / exes / declaration of love / flirting / love triangle (Nico thinks that’s what’s going on but they’re incorrect lmao) / destructive romance / envy / “I Don’t Want to Ruin Our Friendship” (from Nico & Percy, Mato’s just going batshit over it all) / shared values / slow burn / does not end well / happily ever after / love letters
Gunner/Mitch (Genesis Uprising)
height difference / mutual pining / first kiss / wedding / in-jokes / lgbt+ / family disapproves / would die for each other / would kill for each other / fake relationship / arranged wedding / cuddlers / pda friendly / and they were roommates / holding hands / secret relationship / opposing world views / getting a pet / have kids / want kids / grow old together / relationship failures (turns out being a vigilante can be misinterpreted quite easily) / rests head on shoulder / share a bed / token dummies / relationship doubts / they have a song / first date / sharing a blanket / mutual interests / study buddies / bathing together / crash into hello / accidental nudity / laundry / same hobbies / cooking for each other / big fancy gala (I literally replotted the entire series to make this work LMAO) / sibling rivalry / hair stroking (I’m noticing a theme here...) / sitting on each other’s laps / sexual tension / can’t be together (at first due to relationship falling apart, later due to... corporate issues) / age gap / battle couple / Friends to Lovers / Enemies to Lovers / Lovers to Enemies / keeping secrets / love after loss / exes / declaration of love / flirting / love triangle / destructive romance / envy / “I Don’t Want to Ruin Our Friendship” / shared values / slow burn / does not end well / happily ever after / love letters

A Defining Spiritual Moment
Confirmation is a big step in the spiritual life of Catholics and Episcopalians. Through the Confirmation process students, as adults, reaffirm their faith and active membership in the church. It completes the process of initiation into the Christian community. This year, Catholics and Episcopalians interested in being confirmed joined together in one confirmation class over the course of the winter and spring. They learned about baptism, faith, history, and while learning about the differences and similarities of the two religions found a deeper understanding of their own.
This past Sunday, the thirteen Catholics Students were confirmed at St. Joseph's Cathedral down in Manchester in a service presided over by Bishop Peter Anthony Libasci: the Catholic Bishop of NH. The Episcopal students look forward to being confirmed in a few weeks right here on campus. Many thanks to Father Hill, Neal Frei, and Randy Houseman for facilitating this meaningful spiritual step in the life of our students.
Pictured above at St. Joseph's Cathedral are Megan Cunningham, Nina Grappone, Julia Feeney, Ryan Blanchard, Kolin Belliveau, Cormac O'Neill, Matthew Stiles, Jackson Ehwa, Sofia Lerardi, Chase Picard, Simon Rolfs, Kaden Freelove, and Mitch LeGeyt. Congratulations!

4-Run 6th Leads Sox Past Twins.
White Sox 5 Twins 2 W-Santiago (2-2) L-Odorizzi (3-3) SV-Soria (6)
The Minnesota Twins split a doubleheader with the Chicago White Sox yesterday and looked to beat up on a divisional rival tonight. The Twins have struggled against lesser team this year and that continued in this one. The Twins drew first blood tonight in the second inning. Robbie Grossman led-off with a singled then Mitch Garver doubled. Ehire Adrianza hit a run-scoring double to center and teh Twins were on the board. The White Sox finally figured out Jake Odorizzi in the fourth inning. Matt Davidson drew a two-out walk and Kevan Smith singled. Tim Anderson hit an RBI single to left and the game was tied at one. The Twins would respond immediately in the bottom of the fourth. Ehire Adrianza doubled with two outs and Ryan LaMarre drove him in with a single to right. This put the Twins back up 2-1 and headed into the sixth inning with the lead. Yolmer Sanchez ignited a rally in the sixth with a lead-off single. Jose Abreu followed with a single and Kevan Smith lined a base hit to right to load up the bases. Later in the inning, Ryan Pressly threw a wild pitch that scored the tying run. The bad inning continued and Tim Anderson plated two more with a base hit to left. Anderson got to third base and Adam Engel executed a perfect suicide squeeze. Anderson scored on the play and the Sox led 5-2. Meanwhile, Hector Santiago threw a solid five innings against his former team and the bullpen did the rest. Bruce Rondon threw 1 1/3 innings, Jace Frey got two big outs then Nate Jones fanned two in the eighth. Joakim Soria had a scoreless ninth and the Sox got a comeback win on the road.
-Final Thoughts- Jake Odorizzi had a decent start, but lasted just five-plus innings. He allowed three runs on six hits with seven strikeouts and a walk. Ryan Pressly gave up two runs in an inning, Taylor Rogers fanned two in the seventh, and Trevor Hildenberger had a clean eighth. Addison Reed might have gotten back on track with a scoreless ninth. Ehire Adrianza led the team with two hits. The team hit 2-for-7 with runners in scoring position and left nine men on base. Logan Morrison got a pinch-hit at-bat, which might mean his back is feeling better. Tomorrow, James Shields will face Jose Berrios in the series finale on Thursday afternoon.

WANTED! FC can be changed!
Name: Joe Coates Age: 25 Sexuality: Up to Player Gender: Up to Player Portrayed By: Richard Harmon Availability: Open
“Weird shit goes down round here, man.”
→ Background
Joe has never been close with his cousins Henrietta and Sadie. Their parents are kind of estranged from each other, which meant that they didn’t always get together very often for family gatherings or catch ups. Nothing was really arranged and the trend seemed to repeat itself as all the kids got older. It was only every now and again that Joe would wish he could be closer to his cousins, or at least Henrietta. Sadie was a bit older than him and was more like an aunt than anything else, it’s not like they’d have anything in common. But he never really tried. If their grandparents arranged something or at Christmas dinners, they could be friendly enough to each other, but Joe wouldn’t actively seek out their company or confide in them. He had a pretty good life though. Good enough, anyway. Which for some might not seem so great but Joe just kind of… went with the flow. Took whatever was thrown at him and made it work, adapted. He’d always been a great adapter, something of a chameleon.
In high school he hung out with Peter Frey and Daniel Cabot mostly. They were pretty much best friends and Joe sometimes felt like an outsider but if he hung out with one of them at a time then it could be easier, to not feel left out of their little twosome. He wasn’t really one for school in general, however. Joe skipped a lot of his classes as he found it incredibly boring and useless. He hated being cooped up in a room with books and papers. Essays and projects were the worst. He liked being outside, smoking weed in the park or something. It was simple and it was fun, in his opinion. Even if it caused some big issues with his parents when they found out he did drugs but what was the big deal? It’s not like he was out there snorting cocaine or injecting. It was just a bit of weed!
→ Back to Baberton
Baberton has become nothing but a town full of murder and honestly, Joe is sick of the drama of it more than anything. Nobody he really knew personally has been killed but it just seems never ending and it’s all everybody can talk about. It’s like the life’s being sucked right out of the town itself and some really weird shit tends to happen during some events too. Someone is definitely harassing the town but it’s like the cops can’t decide whether it’s one or two people, or whether it’s all connected, or much of anything, really. Baberton is Murderville, plain and simple. People keep dying, the cops keep doing nothing, and nothing ever changes.
Joe just tries his hardest to keep doing his thing. Live his life. He still smokes weed every now and then, usually coming across Mitch Ryder in the park high as a kite and manages to talk him out of some of his stash, but he tries to stay away when he can. After his parents found out a few years back, they sent him to rehab and it was a pretty crappy experience that Joe doesn’t feel like repeating. He hangs around with Peter, still, more than he seems to with Daniel these days, and that’s pretty much it. He doesn’t work, nowhere ever seems to be hiring and the longer he goes without getting experience, the harder it seems to get.
→ What’s His Secret?
Is lusting after two different women. One, his cousin Henri’s friend, Clara Shaw is something of a wild girl and he finds himself very attracted to that, he’d love to hook up with her, she’s incredibly hot and seems pretty up for it from most everyone so why shouldn’t he get a chance? He also has his eye on Xanthe Winters, a hot, moody bitch who really gets him somehow. She’s quite tough and hard to talk to but her face more than makes up for it really. He’s keeping score in his mind of how long it’ll take him to get these two into bed.
Has never had a relationship or had sex with anybody. He’s kissed girls, while drunk mostly, but he’s never had sex or managed to get anybody to come near him while he’s sober. Something about him seems to put girls off but he talks himself up a lot and makes out that he’s done more and had more girls than he really has.
