🤖Weekend Nostalgia 🤖Exactly one year ago we launched the Kokon Pod at @mithackingarts. An important milestone for us since this was the first time we exposed the Kokon to the public. The feedback was phenomenal including "This made me feel important in my existence" and "Like a total reset. Like a soul massage" and "@facebook and @google should have like 500 of these". We could never have pulled this off by ourselves and would like to thank @mithackingarts for believing in us. Thank @situ_nyc for your emotional support and advice on how to build the first Kokon prototype. Thank @10xbeta for hosting us during our initial prototype phase. SOMETHING | mindscapes is a 15 minutes sound piece created for headphones and accompanied by a light composition on a dark room. It exposes the capacity of roaming from one mental space/state to another via a binaural composition. The audience will receive a wireless FM headphone set and will be invited to sit on stage with the performer. The performance will be diffused via FM radio. The piece uses radio as a spatial medium for mobile spaces and transversal sonic architectures. People outside of the room will be invited to tune into the shared mindscape.
