Reposted @rumorsofwriting I think every coffee shop should have a Sistah Scifi  Book Vending Machine. A little birdie told me about @mixedcoffeeshop - a great place to grab a cup of coffee and a book. 

I picked out "Speculation" by @nisi_shawl. 

"Speculation" was a fun middle grade read - loved the concept of glasses giving one magical powers. Also, enjoyed the Southern world Shawl described. Reminded me of some of the stories I've heard from my Southern friends.
