As for the Quartermaster of CIRO, intelligence gathering consisted of mostly making sure the agents were in the right place at the right time. Sometimes that meant a little breaking and entering. Sometimes that meant some hacking. There weren’t any car chases or explosions or shoot outs--

The only exception to that rule was 002.

001. .   .   .   kills the spider || Both of them, but Ace will tell her a story about how he had fried spider.  :|  Miyuki is green.  Global destruction has been averted.

002. .   .   .   proposed || Both, but Ace went first.  It took a very long time.  Ace had to think long and hard cause, this is Ace and he likes his freedom just as much as his brothers.

003.  .   .   .   kissed the other first || I want to say Miyuki did.  Ace is just “8I Took you long enough.”  “W-what?!”

004.  .   .   .   initiates things || They take turns.  When they attempted bedroom gymnastics for the first time, they accidentally headbutted each other.  Sabo does not let him live it down.When they were first getting along, Ace started the conversation.  Miyuki… while cordial and friendly in public (especially when food is involved), was kind of like his young self towards him.  Miyuki needed to be taught some things…  It took a while though for Ace, since he’s still reserved himself.

006.  .   .   .   is more jealous || I want to say Miyuki, because Ace will bring them all to the yard.  Ace politely excuses himself, and RUNS.  He will have to run back and grab Miyuki though.

007.  .   .   .   is lazier || I’m really not sure…?  Ace has narcolepsy but he is hard at work when he’s interested.  As for Miyuki… she has to take a nap from the feast.  I’m going to have to go with Miyuki on this one, considering Ace’s position within Whitebeard’s crew.  Miyuki has stopped working a similar position as a mercenary months before… so… yeah.

008.  .   .   .   sends weird texts at 3 AM || Miyuki.  Definitely Miyuki.  She most likely even dialed his number with her butt on accident while out with the girls…  Oops.

009.   .   .   .  is more experienced || Ace.  Miyuki really did not have time to well… adventure like her sister.

010.   .   .   .  said i love you first ||Miyuki, despite having to be sure.  Ace may take longer.  He’d still be stuck at ‘daisuki’ because of his own issues.  Three ways to say ‘I love you’ so far in Japanese… ‘daisuki’–>’aishiteru’–>’koishiteru’

* SIBLING RIVALRY . Basically what this blog revolves around. I go more in depth with Red and Purple’s relationship in this post and in my about but their dynamic is what truly helped me build my muse when I first started out writing Red. I’ve always speculated that Red had been in charge with the military side of the empire considering he always seemed more passionate about the weapons and artillery compared to Purple. This concept only truly solidified for me when I watched Backseat Drives from Beyond the Stars when Red took initiative.

002 ` .

* MIYUKI . It’s an obscure one considering that it’s highly canon divergent and flips multiple fandom theories and messes with the time line but, I like to believe that Miyuki had actually gone to the Irken Academy with Red and Purple and had been very close friends with them to a point where she and Red had begun dating. Since she had also grown tall naturally she was crowned the new Almighty Tallest after Tallest Spork’s demise. After graduating the academy Red had been assigned to be one of her personal bodyguards when he isn’t off planet doing missions.

* BATTLE SCARS . His most visible one is that he has an artificial antennae due to an incident in his invader years that resulted in him getting shot by an enemy sniper. He’s also been through torture after getting captured and narrowly escaping with bruises and cuts. The PAK that he currently carries isn’t his original and he’s had to get a brand new one due to another incident where a bullet had punctured through his PAK.

* CROSSOVER . He knows Evil!Rick Sanchez and is closely acquainted with him, going as far as being in a relationship. This is another odd ball in my list since my good friend @rickslaughter and I wrote many threads together and we hadn’t intended to ship our muses. But this one holds a special place in my books since Red had actually met Rick before being crowned Almighty Tallest when they were caught in a crossfire together, ending up in prison together multiple times and breaking out to go on a murder spree. If Rick were ever to call to arms his best men Red would be there as his marksman. NOTE * that if other Evil!Ricks were to follow this blog they don’t have to follow this head canon.

005 ` .

* ZIM . Oh boy ! Probably the most complicated next to Evil!Rick since I like to think that Red actually admired Zim in their years at the academy. While not necessarily someone he would look up to but a best friend type of sorts since Irk thrived on bloodshed so, of course with Zim being the destructive being that he is Red would be drawn to his person. This also ties into something I’ve been told that Zim has a strong hatred for Purple or at least the comic alludes to such which doesn’t surprise me because of Purple’s ‘ no bullshit ’ attitude. If anything, as much as Red ended up hating Zim I really do believe that when it comes to how I portray Red is that there’s definitely enough history there that Red would try to end Zim’s existence with some mercy if it ever comes to that sort of thing.

When I started shipping them: i can’t remember if i shipped them from the get-go or if there was a specific moment… if there was any particular moment though, it’d probably be the when that tiny bit of miyumei history was revealed in the miyuchris flashback ep lolol. or just before, when 

My thoughts: CHILDHOOD FRIENDS GOT ME W E A K. also why have the rivals-to-friends-to-lovers trope when you could have all three at the same time?? i have A Lot of thoughts but i uh… won’t ramble too much. i’m just… so emo……….

What makes me happy about them:  i love love love how despite that they go to different schools, mei still kazuya’s dearest friend (or… like at least one of his 2 and a half friends LOL). they’re obviously so fond of each other and they, like, GET each other, you feel. ahgadhlja miyuki is so closed off from everyone else but with mei… well, there’s still some distance there but mei is the closesttttt anyone has gotten to him?? ;;;; also i die whenever they watch each other’s games and they’re like? very observant of each other, and low key happy/proud……. really every canon moment kills me

What makes me sad about them: ohhhh man. they have like? kinda similar personalities but that is exactly why they would destroy each other omg. they’re both too stubborn sometimes, too proud. they’re lowkey an “we almost dated” or “the one that got away” kinda ship and it kills me. even if they did date i can see them fighting a lot ;; and it just wouldn’t work out… maybe in another life?

Things done in fanfic that annoys me: just like… characterization i don’t like? like when mei is Too Bratty?? idk. i feel like… i can’t be too picky LOL

Things I look for in fanfic: you already know though. angst, mayybe with some fluff hehehe. a happy ending is optional. a kind of open ended but slightly hopeful ending is uhghghghgh good. + miyuki with Commitment Issues ™ is a very good.

My wishlist: MORE BACKSTORY bc i’m greedy. and let them… hug……. please

my thoughts:

CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT FOR BOTH OF THEM I CANNOT EVEN (or, tanuki and sunshine boy?? lmao) - I’m a proud mama

What makes me happy about them:

The fact that they understand each other so well and that they also know their own limits (when Miyuki had to look to Chris for help when Ei-chan had yips) and knowing how to let others help too :3

What makes me sad about them:

Miyuki not being truthful during important times and how he and Eijun always pass by each other because Eijun tries to be as open as he can.

things done in fanfic that annoys me:

Reversed ship (SawaMi) in a fanfic without warning. Like a lot of pixiv shippers out there, I personally have a vendetta against any of my ships being reversed. But I usually just avoid them unless the author doesn’t state that they end up reversing at some point (or tag accordingly), then I’d get annoyed. 

things I look for in fanfic:

Eijun being a ball of sunshine but awesome, and Miyuki not being a jerk on purpose (he can be a jerk, but not on purpose lol - but I’d read the fanfic either way)
