it takes him time to come to terms that all his suffering was "your" doing, but when he eventually does, he's hit with a wave of emotions ranging from unbridled affection to unwavering worship. this mix of very intense feeling is what actually pulls him into becoming as submissive as he is, pair that up with millennia of suffering with some hints of trauma, and he's only hanging onto the constant that is the idea of your existence. he only realizes just how taken he is with you and your divinity is when he's finally in front of you, and his head only fills with just how he'll be able to serve you.

he does it like a good worshipper. not only does he confess his undying and unconditional obsession for you, he tells you of everything he's done in your name. whether that be telling tales of longstanding liyue traditions all of which were first started in your name or the amount of blood he's spilled just to survive long enough to finally see your form. after that, he once again vows to forever follow you and give his life for you. he strikes his polearm into the ground which causes all of liyue to quake, and he kneels before you with this pledge of allegiance and servitude.

zhongli wouldn't dare fight you, but if he ever hurts your feelings or displeases you, he is quick to beg for your forgiveness and even opts for a self-punishment for even the slightest of transgressions. if it makes you cry or extremely mad, he'll even hand you his weapon and let you finish him off yourself or any blade to forever scar his skin with a mark of how he failed as your most beloved worshipper. should you forgive him, he's extremely thankful while he promises to do better in the future.

it's more like it's brainwashed into his head that he's supposed to love you from zhongli's teachings. no matter the means or process of how he falls in love with you, he only realizes the magnitude of it the first time you touch him. it's simple: the brush of your hand against his cheek as you proclaim how lovely he looks. your few words suddenly mean the world to him, and xiao takes some time to find out that being near you takes away the effects of his karmic debt as long as he's within radius of you. it's strange, but if further solidifies that he is truly yours.

in classic xiao fashion, he does it with a gift-- more specifically, crystal fly clips. his hands are shaking when he hands them, and this does not pass by you. you gently take his hand in yours to stop it from trembling, and it absolutely feels like his soul left his body. in the midst of his out-of-body experience, he sputters out how much he reveres you and wishes to forever be in your possession. he doesn't really care who he is to you; as long as he's yours, used him as you like.

xiao is really careful when it comes to things that involve you. he's fearful, wondering if what he will do next would warrant your disappointment. he would never try to fight you like zhongli, but that doesn't erase the prospect that he can anger you at any time if he makes a wrong move. the only time you've probably ever been mildly disappointed in him was when you found out about qiqi. it's more of pity in all honesty, but xiao sees it as a negative emotion directed towards him. when he found out, he's blaming himself, simmering in his own sadness and rage. it's not until you ask for him does he manage to beg for you to forgive him.

Kaeya

your touch isn't cold nor does it leave his skin burning. it's warm, homey, and inviting. it reminds him of a time long before things all spiraled out of control in his life, and that's all he needs to know that he loves you. his suave front is replaced by a scared man too traumatized by the heart left frozen in his chest. he knows he loves you as you press a kiss to his eyelids, loving him more tenderly than anyone before.

he tries to do it like the casanova he is known far, but you can see right through him. he is scared that you'd find his display pathetic, but he's mildly surprised that you find it... endearing? it makes his eyes light up when you laugh at the bad flirting and the charming smile. he calls you lovely after his brain turns to mush, and he also finds himself promising his whole being to you after that. as long as you love him, he doesn't care about anything else.

he won't fight you either, but it's his scathing words and sharp tongue that gets to you. he doesn't mean it-- he really doesn't. trust him, he doesn't want to hurt the only person that makes him want to live. but the moment he sees the corners of your mouth droop, he starts to blame himself. he starts hating himself even more, and kaeya feels like dying when you turn away from him. the cavalry captain panics as he pulls you into his embrace. he's murmuring apologies into the crook of your neck and clenching your clothes tightly. please don't leave him alone. just want him. he doesn't care what for, just say that you still want him and isn't just some deadweight. please forgive him.

just calling his name makes him weak. you can just be calling him over, and he's stumbling over himself to answer you. it's cute, so to say. his name is just so important to him; it represents all that he is, and hearing you say it, it's proof that you accept all that he is despite all his shortcomings.

he's not terribly possessive, not he does have his bouts where all he wants to do is to keep you in his company for the rest of the day. usually when that happens, he clears up his entire schedule, and he'll have you stay with him in the manor of the winery. during this time, the maids know better than to disturb him unless it's something important, lest they want to lose their heads.

Kaeya

kaeya would be filled with euphoria if you kiss over his eyelids. he so loves it when you untie his eyepatch as you gently press a kiss over the one place on his body he so scorns. it feels nice, refreshing when you kiss him there. it feels like he's being purified and forgiven despite all his sins. it's evidence that you love him, that you accept him.

just about as much as diluc, if not a bit more. he's subtle, but his possessiveness just stems from jealousy. when he's feeling possessive, he actively spites other acolytes-- mainly zhongli-- either by taunting them or showing off how much you favor him. other than that, he doesn't restrict you or anything. he doesn't want you to hate him for clipping your wings, after all.

Childe

it's the bloodlust in your eyes when you see a new foe that makes him absolutely head over heels for you. he's so in love when you let him strike them down and try his hand at someone possibly stronger than him; it riles him right up! plus points if you cheer him on!

[XV - The Devil] ; How possessive are they?

almost as possessive as zhongli. those two are frightening when it comes to their rivalry simply because zhongli wants to keep you safe in one place while childe wants to take you to a place where you can get killed all so you can see him win against some brute. childe just loves having you to himself because no one else knows how amazing it is to be out in the battlefield.

Aether

spending time with you gives him the same amount of serotonin if he were to hit jackpot while digging for some treasure. any time spent with you renders him weak in the knees, no matter what it is you're doing. aether enjoys himself fully in your company; you did control his vessel at one point, so it's only right that now that you have a body of your own in their universe. it does make him quite clingy.

quite possessive, only because he's been with you since the start. he's just really gotten used to you being there that when you aren't, it feels wrong. when he isn't out wandering teyvat, he's with you in your teapot and relaxing. he actually comes by every three of four days because he can't really bear not being with you. his entire existence, at this point, kind of hinges on you.
