In partnership with Joe Doucet x Partners (USA), Modla (ENG) and Odd Matter (AN), Reebok explored the potential of its new material -- an open figure-8 construction that interlocks unlimited strands to create strong and light surface.

All designers worked with the version of the textile that will appear in the first-generation of Reebok Flexweave footwear, launching in 2018, made from chenille yarn.

         Anyway, I’m getting ahead of myself  ! Hello, once again, your favorite moderator here  ! With the holidays coming into full swing, us four have proposed sort of our own celebration. Don’t worry, our winter event is not coming until after the first of the year, but more details will come about that early next month, I’m sure. 

          What this is, is a FANDOM-WIDE gift exchange for everyone. The holidays are coming along with mistletoe, gingerbread cookies, festive trees, candles -- you name it  ! We mods think its important to share our bonds year - round, and this is no exception.

       ❝   The weather outside is getting mighty frightful, don’t you think  ?  Not to worry, this just means it’ll be perfect weather for our annual snowball fight  ! I’m sure most of you have been busy collecting team members and practicing some techniques to better prepare yourselves for your opponents. With that, there will be a few rules --- yes, yes, I know, call me Captain Funslayer -- but we just do not want to have any casualties and death by snowball  !

        Now, as we’ve mentioned in our SCHEDULE OF EVENTS, teams may not be submitted until the 4th of January, and sign ups will only be accepted until the 8th of January at 11:59 PM EST. This gives us mods ample time to complete all of our regulations and the such while giving everyone sufficient time to gather teams. If you already have a team together: great  ! Keep it that way until then. If you are struggling to find a team, there is still time ! 

         We are looking for 4-8 teams to compete in the gauntlet. So far I think I’ve heard talk of . . mmm, perhaps four including my own team. And perhaps talk of a fifth should Sir Clive and Sir Alm feel so inclined to bring The Deliverance back to keep their crown.

         Onto the rules, then  ! And we hope your team spirit stays heated through these harsh winds  ! ❞

SNOWBALL FIGHT OOC RULES:

❄️ -          Teams must consist of 8-12 players. Try to include one OC/Custom MU ( more often than not, the custom MUs in the fandom are considered ocs in some way shape or form, but we do urge you to try and include an OC on your team if you are able to  ! Recruit some people you’ve not had interactions with  ! ) This is not required this go ‘round, due to scarcity in ocs and muses alike, but we urge for 8 players, and no more than 12. Please count your chickens !

❄️ -          When submitting your full teams, please send  TEAM NAME, MUSE NAMES AND URLS. So for instance: TEAM LASLOW. Captain: Laslow/@danciique. Co Captain: Odin/@iichorbled Team Members: MUSE/URL, MUSE/URL, etc. This will ensure that no one is on two teams and that people can be recognized !

❄️ -          This will be run so as to not condone a ‘ popularity ’ vote. This is going to be run as randomized as we can possibly get it. It’ll be done ala Hunger Games Simulator style, in which the last person standing from a team will name their team the victor. We are going to mod the text to reflect to snowball fight lingo and make updates throughout Wednesday. You’re still welcome to trade a few exchanges of roleplaying out the game, of course, but the final outcomes will be determined by the generator.

❄️ -          No vaguing or sending anon hate over whom a team captain chooses for their team. If you want on a team, once we have some captains in place, we will post them, and you can approach the team captain of your choosing for entry on their team. Captains PLEASE be considerate of those who come to you and ask !

❄️ -          YOUR MUSE CANNOT BE ON TWO TEAMS AT ONCE. Your muse cannot captain a team, and play on a different team, or exist on two teams at once. We realize there are double muses of near everyone, but YOU PERSONALLY cannot be on two teams at one time. ONE TEAM PER BLOG.  The question arose of the amount of muses you can use for this event, the current maximum is 3 MUSES ( if you are multimuse, your cap is still 3 muses, and they must all 3 be on separate teams ). . If this needs adjusted in the future to fill a few teams, we will let you know, but 3 is the cap for now.

❄️ -          If you are looking for team players, post in the SPECIAL EVENT TAG ( snowfall and sleigh bells ;; snowball fight ) to try filling any empty spots !

        We are now currently accepting applications for the Winter Wonderland Bazaar  ! As mentioned, we would never make our generous vendors do their sales in the snow and cold -- instead, we’ve reserved a cozy, decorative wing in our resort location just for you  ! No need to worry about catching a cold or freezing. We’ll make sure you stay nice and cozy !

        Booth space is unlimited, so we do encourage newcomers and oldcomers alike  ! We’re happy to have you serving and selling your wares at our festival event  ! However, please abide by the stated rule to keep to your booth, and not run another. We’re trying to sell and be sold, and endless running around is bound to get confusing.

       ❝ I’m sure all of you have just been dying to hear from us  ! Our last vacation certainly left a lot of you wanting more -- and we have something coming your way !

         It’s now officially fall, for all of you grumps who refused to acknowledge it. Robin Squared and I have been discussing plans, but you can all get excited with knowing we’ve chosen a designated week to celebrate the closeness of our most dearest allies and even those who may become your dearest allies, you never know, now do you  ?

          AHEM. SO, ladies and gentleman  ! . . Ladies,

      which will be taking placeSunday October 29 thru Saturday November 4. These dates were the most assured ones to catch the full essence of the fall season ( and I know the majority of us will love the festivities along with it  ! ). Of course, most of the events will revolve around the Nohrian Halloween festival, but we’ll try not to leave out our Hoshidan brethren in the event  ! Pumpkins, costumes, sweet treats and more  ! Anna has so graciously helped us select another fine place to hold our ‘ vacation ’, and more information on that will come along as well as all festivities and events that will go on in the weeks to come.

         ❝ Greetings once again ! By now I’m sure all of you are familiar with me -- and if you’re not, I would be oh, so glad to introduce myself. 

    AHEM -- anyhow, Robin Squared along with Henry and I have finally placed our tentative schedule. I’d best not waste anymore time lest they kick me off the team . . or threaten again. I can’t decide what’s worse . .  

       I’m pleased to also announce that our resort location is taking place in the solitude of the woods, but within our little corner, we’ve been lucky enough to land a reservation in the Hot Springs Haven . . but without further ado, our week includes, but is not limited to this:

SUNDAY: Hot Spring Social 

              I suppose we can all see where this is going, yes  ? Much alike to our Sno-Cone social from the summer, our arrival will be celebrated within the luxurious hot springs within the trees  !I couldn’t think of a better way to get to know a person than through the steam and the essence of relaxation. Reflet should have his snapshot tome all ready to go by the weekend to show all of you the widespread area, complete with enough spring digs to occupy nearly twice our anticipated guest list. So no worries on that  ! Just be sure to bring a towel . . or two. You never know if someone’s ‘ trick ’ will be taking yours.

      Oh  ! I nearly forgot -- for those of you who sign up for the cabin liaison service, the roommates list will be released on this day. That way you can catch up with your roommates in the social  ! The liaison service will be posted before too long, as per Robin.

MONDAY: Halloween Bazaar 

             Halloween isn’t complete without a whole two-day celebration dedicated to it  ! The real fun starts here, with booths and your expected carnival games. On Monday, us four mods will be overseeing a bobbing for apples event, one that could earn you prizes  ! More information will come on that as soon as we’re able, and don’t worry, the apples aren’t poisoned. I’ll be sure and keep Henry away from them.

        Along with our Halloween Bazaar, there will of course be pre-trick or treating ( don’t lie, it’s not just for children ), and we will be having a special guest spotlight for the occasion. During the evening, we’ve let Henry conjure together a haunted carriage ride through the forest -- though, we’ve asked him to make sure none of it actually kills you. 

       Each of us four mods will be running around to meet and greet you should you need anything, or in case someone gets a little too carried away with their tricks . . we’ll set them straight.

TUESDAY: Costume Showcase*

       What’s Halloween without costumes either  ? On Tuesday will be our Costume showcase, for all of you who are all about dressing up. If you’re wearing a costume, then all the better  ! We’d love to have you on stage for the essence of participating  ! 

        The real tricks and treats start on this night, too, as trick or treating continues, and us mods also have a special treat for you guys, too  ! Consider this our . . ‘ special event ’. No, no, I can’t tell you  ! It would ruin the surprise  ! Don’t worry over it and just enjoy your time at the bazaar -- don’t fuss, we’re not mean enough to ever play tricks on our special guests.

 WEDNESDAY: Mainstage Spotlight*

                 The bazaar remains open even today, but we’re opening up our costume showcase stage for the talent festival  ! Acting, singing, dancing -- even a performance from yours truly . . so long as I don’t get cold feet -- any talent you may have, we’ll be taking applications to be sponsored on the ‘ mainstage ’ for the harvest festival portion of our event  ! Applicants will be special featured and be able to hear the crowd’s adoration firsthand  !

NOTE: applications are optional. You’re free to simply post your scene in a designated tag if you like, but submitting to us will get your muse’s ‘ talent ’ scene featured on the mod blog. description is best, as your character is supposed to be showing off their talents -- consider this drabble writing to be featured here  !

THURSDAY: Special Insights*

                [ Mod Special Event - centric day. I know it’s so not fair to be in the know and then have a day dedicated to it, but worry not  ! You need not to be so concerned with all of the details, now do you ? ]

       Aside from that, we’ll be provided pumpkins from the outrealms patch for carving and pumpkin seed roastings. I’m sure someone will also be making pumpkin pie in the mix of this all. It may be after Halloween at this point, but who doesn’t like a souvenir nonetheless  ?

NOTE: we can’t leave you all completely in the dark, but it’d be wrong of me to give you too big of a CLUE . . . . 

FRIDAY: Movie Night*

                 Gather around the campire, and sing our campfire song --- oh, right -- campfire  !! This night will be dedicated to a Halloween movie as we all gather ‘round the warm fire and come together for a night of thrill  ! Bring someone’s hand to hold, I hear that the ghosts and ghouls like to come play around the fire at night.

NOTE: A poll will be given for movie night, IT WILL NOT BE A HORROR FILM, DO NOT WORRY. Movie will be planned to stream TWICE. Once at 12PM EST && at 8PM EST, and a Discord chat room will once again be opened for the event. You are more than welcome to come for both showings, the times are to include our EU timezone peers  !

SATURDAY: Farewell Feast

                  And just like that . . the week will unfortunately come to a close -- but not without saying farewell to those we’ve met this go ‘round. We invite you to the Harvest Feast -- featuring dishes from all over the realms and from any and all corners of the world as we know it. We’ve been collecting recipes, and most of what we’ve come across does not seem all that bad. Just watch out for the crows, I’m sure they’d be more than happy to dive into anything you don’t take with you.

       Phew --  ! I do believe that’s everything so far. As I mentioned, this schedule is very tentative and subject to change or be added to. Though we are not so much taking suggestions, do feel free to spend your festival however you personally see fit, as even though I may not have mentioned everything, there is more to do than what I’ve layed out for you  !

     HALLOWEEN BAZAAR IS OPEN FOR VENDORS  !!

      ❝ Welcome back to the announcer’s corner with your favorite mod. I know, I know, hold your applause until the end, ladies and gents. We’re pleased to announce that we’ll now be taking applications to fill our festival bazaar with those who wish to expand their personal skills to business  !  

     As in the summer, the bazaar will undergo set-up on Sunday, and will be open for business on Monday, October 31. Of course, as the owner of your own establishment, you’re able to set your own days and hours, and yes, you’re encouraged to leave your post at least once to experience the bazaar at its fullest ! It will be open all week, after all  ! ❞
