Brewery: Heretic Brewing Company Location: Fairfield CA Style: New England IPA ABV: 6.50% This IPA had me saying WHOA!!!! @hereticbrewing really impressed with this one. This IPA pours a hazy, yellow gold body leaving a small one finger white foamy head. Top of the glass has some minimal lacing and the carbonation looks medium. To the nose, I picked up some floral notes. A little bit of pineapple and some grapefruit but mostly mango. I do pick up a light hoppy scent too. It brings a lot of tropical aromas to the nose, but once I took a taste i picked up mostly mango to the mouth. It’s very juicy but light on the bitterness also. I do also taste some pineapple, melon, some malty notes, although the mango is very prominent. This juicy IPA is very easy to drink. It is smooth, yummy, and well balanced. They hide the alcohol well too lol. It’s a New England style IPA but with a taste of California made in the west coast. I give this IPA a 4.50 out 5. It’s refreshing, yummy, well balanced with a light bitter finish. I want to try more from these guys and see what’s in store. But if I ever see Juicier Than Thou again its coming home with me!! Brewery: Lord Hobo Brewing Company Location: Woburn, Ma Style: New England IPA ABV: 8.8% HAZY BOOMSAUCE! I’m very impressed by @lordhobobrewing hazy double IPA. This tropical smelling, well balanced, juice defining beer had me saying YUMMY 😋 It pours a light yellow to a hazy orange. The body looks thick medium carbonated, and again Hazy! To the nose brings a burst of tropical aromas. Apricot, peach, plum , even a little hint of papaya. To the mouth also follows the nose. A little bitterness from the hops but followed with a well balanced fruity finish. All the flavors in this one is well balanced. Overall it’s pretty good New England double IPA. I give this beer a 4.2 out of 5. Brewery: WormTown Brewery Location: Worcester MA Style: American IPA (India Pale Ale) Abv: 5.6% HOPULAR CULTURE #008 its on the smooth side for a IPA, bring fruity aromas to the nose. Pours around a gold to a honey 🍯 hazy body . It’s a pretty Danky beer with those mosaic hops. Overall I think this beer is pretty good . The hopular culture beers are constantly changing. This batch was number 008 , I’m looking forward to trying out more of the Hopular Cultures. I give this beer 4.0 out of 5, I’ll definitely grab a another different number to see what’s in surprise.
