Bedtime is supposed to be 8pm. I try to stick to that as much as possible. But sometimes when I just have to get one more silly moment in before they go to sleep. ✨ Even though they were already running 30 minutes past their bedtime, I just had to take a few moments of silly pics and belly laughter. Post Partum Party In My Pants

NOT. just two weeks before I had my scheduled c-section I landed in the ED with painful hemorrhoids. That resulted in emergency surgery and a recovery at home that felt next to being tortured with fire and constant cuts. Being pregnant, I was restricted as to what I could take for pain. The first week was hell, followed by almost hell and then.... my C-Section. I'm 5 days PP and not having the time of my life. The engorgement is so not fun. I want to hold my baby, i want to be able to walk straight, to pee without pain and to hold my bigger 35lb baby, Oliver. Also, I have 2 kids and there are 3 of us wearing diapers..... I wonder who that is. Lucas was born on Jan. 25th @ 9:11a. He is made of what dreams are made of. Good dreams. And when I look at him, that hemorrhoidectomy 3 weeks ago? Worth it. Bed rest? Worth it. C-Section? WORTH IT. It all just melts away. Being a mom is the biggest blessing I could have ever been given.
