Why don’t you like Waitress?

idk it’s just never been my favorite? i’ve listened to it multiple times but i never really latched onto it. i was mostly bitter about it taking the place of dwsa because dwsa was just such a revolutionary production and there are very few remarkable things about waitress imo. waitress is just very “flat” to me i guess. plus if i’m not mistaken one of the supporting characters cheats on her sick/disabled husband and thats her “struggle”? like i suppose that’s a valid storyline because people have actually gone through that but it doesn’t really do much for advancing the portrayal of the disabled community
