Specific knowledge and experience of Ruby, Rails, Chef, MySQL, and HTML5

Source Control using Git

Ability to lead development efforts

Ruby gem creation/maintenance

Ruby Meta-programming

Practical experience implementing test driven design strategies, including experience with mocking/simulating external services

Practical experience working with build frameworks and application platforms to include nignx, Jenkins, AWS/EC2, docker, Linux, Centos, RHEL, Fedora, Monit, postfix, openssl

Advanced knowledge of software development lifecycle

Experience with Apache

Experience with Unix/Linux and shell scripting

Heya guys,I’m about to finally submit to my thoughts of starting my own blog.So i’ve been thinking and got a few questions.I live in Sweden, and i want the site to be “ fast ” globally. Should i host it in USA, thru let’s say “ NixiHost ” instead of hosting it in Sweden which will add some delay/ms or whatever it’s called for websites. If i host it in USA, a larger userbase can use the website absolutely “laggfree” compared to Sweden. Atleast that’s how i think it should work, correct me if i’m wrong.NixiHost comes recommended on the sidebar, so should be a solid choice?Going with selfhosted wordpress for future monetization, is the way to go right?
