Stoked surfer reports: this just in >> “ I just want to say thanks a lot. Just got out of the water down here by my house down south. Got a couple of really sick ones on the new board ... it's amazing. thanks so much - paddles like a dream paddles better than any board I think I've ever had actually. But anyways yeah I got a couple couple crazy good ones right before dark and just got out of the water like a half hour ago. I can't wait to go out again.” —Dan 51/5’9”/175lb | 6’0” x 19 3/4” x 2 11/16” 34.5L #monstroscillous #jetstreamsurfboard #proxyepoxy #surferfeedback https://www.instagram.com/p/B3pTe3XgpGB/?igshid=usha4gsfthpd

Stoked surfer reports >> this just in: “Hey buddy boy the Big Stick is nuclear! I rode it in some stuff where everybody was getting stuck behind sections and getting caught up in the chop going backwards, and this thing just glides through stuff and has so much grip and stability...you can clear so much territory by just sitting on the rail and letting it run, and it throws big sprays!” - Ricky Referring to a new one-off custom using the #Monstroscillous outline with the rocker and #Jetstreamsurfboard concaves of the #zipstitchsurfboard in 5’11” x 19 3/4” x 2 5/8” 33.4L Ricky is 52, 6’0”, 185lbs. Like a kid at the ice cream truck: Ricky with his new hybrid using the #Monstroscillous outline with the #Zipstitchsurfboard rocker and concaves. I’m calling it the #Zipstroscillous but Ricky calls it the Big Stick...maybe because of the colors. 5’11” x 19 5/8” x 2 5/8” 33.4L in ridiculite epoxy construction 🚧 🏗 🔨 Ricky is 6’0”, 185lbs ripper https://www.instagram.com/p/B0d-2vbgNh6/?igshid=1l8mn2vkwpng9

An equation introduced / a proof pursued: So a father and son duo from San Diego presented an idea for a new board to me a few months ago. Well, I think I may have worked out an algorithm for that sweet steady spot in the wave that lets your pause for a second while the board’s rocker locates the launch pad for that first quick burst of speed at take-off. Design wise there’s a flat ‘plate’ in the centerline rocker running from the centerpoint up about 7” towards the nose. It places a small planing area right under your chest perfect when paddling into little nuggets. It also creates a drivey little glide spot just ahead of the front foot. Next ask was for the board to have crisp tail release and a pockety pendulum kind of ball bearing swivel to it. So for this I took the original #Monstroscillous rocker, lowered the entry and then added tail rocker through the last 18” of the tail. And lastly it needed the grip and glide of the #jetstreamsurfboard hull but with an engine that would engage even while light-footing it...a common thing to do in smaller and weaker waves. And now what uniqueness for the wave pool? Have you noticed that pool waves have little to no water getting pulled from the flats ahead of the wave. The normal ‘trough’ energy of the wave is nonexistent since water is only being thrust forward by use of a giant scoop or foil or plunger. So there is energy being thrust forward but no energy being pulled into the wave face like an ocean wave. Traditional hulls have to be kept in a tighter zone on the wave face...unless you carve out the bottom of the board so that it can generate speed out of flats where there is no energy being produced by the wave. So...just a few thoughts about what goes into the new #Pavarottisurfboard Oh yeah the outline is stout, but not bloated; it’s halfway between a Monsta outline and a #Hideoscillous outline. And it’s called the Pavarotti ...well... because it makes you sing ... for joy in a range of octaves you never imagined possible. 5’6” x 19 3/4” x 2 3/8” 28.5L Riley is 17, 6’1”, 160lbs. surfing for four years. https://www.instagram.com/p/B2x692cAV1C/?igshid=1rgpy9i2j35q1

Stoked surfer reports: this just in >> “Hey Todd and Charissa, Took delivery of the Hideo just a few days before I left for Panama. Arrived in perfect condition as usual but was kind of tripping on it. Never seen a board quite like it. Anyway, waves were flat so didn’t get to give it a go. Went on my trip, had a great time. Stayed with my brother and sister in law on their boat in Bocas. Scored some good Careneros. Monsta HD is custom fit for that wave btw. Got home and still nothing for a Hiddy test. Finally this past weekend got a little bump from the tropics. Weak, waist to chest high. Todd! I was catching waves out past the longboarders. And you can still surf it like a conventional shortboard. Super impressed. Love it. Exactly what I was looking for. Devours Florida weakness. Haha. Hope you guys are doing well. I’ll be in touch soon for the next one.” —Jody 57/5’10”/180lb/lifer 5’10” x 20 1/2” x 2 5/8” 35L #hideoscillous Hideojet #proxy epoxy Ridiculite 5’11” x 19 3/4” x 2 5/8” 32.5L customized #monstajet with #monstroscillous rocker & bottom #proxyepoxy teamlite #surferfeedback https://www.instagram.com/p/B06i_2CgIX-/?igshid=1adxgfet6jcm

Stoked surfer reports:this just in> “Aloha Todd and Charissa, from the land of lava flows, hurricanes, brushfires and occasionally the odd head high set. Where to begin, first of all the board is 6ʻx22x3.25@47L! that is a lot of board and thank you as a shaper for fitting the liters I asked for in there even if those dims sound like they shouldnʻt work. You made them work thank you, I can tell you shaped me what I needed and didnʻt just blow up the dims on an existing model. From when i first put it in the water just the way it sat in the water was unique it kinda bobs like a catamaran with all that width and concave. Iʻve always been a bigger guy but a competent surfer, over the last few years though my weightʻs gone up even more and I have been relegated to soft tops or boards where the volume I need negates the boardʻs maneuverability. Filled with anticipation on my first couple of waves my stance was narrow and i thought, "uh oh it feels stiff”, then I got my foot over the fin cluster and it was blast off. This thing is super loose-here, there, everywhere, spin around what ever but also has maximum hold, like hold to spare, especially with those large Proctor fins you designed, having tried a couple other setups. This board is also super sensitive and “poppy”, less effort less body movements in your pumps down the line covers more distance faster and the tail wants to pop out of the water on steeper faster turns. It also tends to finish turns smoothly, like a roundtail, all on its own like doing it for you. Although it planes well and cheater 5ʻs unreal itʻs not a planey cruisey board it likes to create speed on rail. Well thatʻs the condensed review having gone on long enough and I almost never email anyone so this is fun. I really hate to sound sound cliche but this may be the best board Iʻve ever ridden/owned mostly to do with how it fits up with my home break specifically turning the everyday frog (surf) into a prince. Until we speak again “Aloha A Hui Houʻ.” —Ahiena 39/5’9”/256lb/22 years surfing/Hawaii #surferfeedback #monstroscillous #carbonfootprintsurfboard https://www.instagram.com/p/BnCUNTHgshS/?utm_source=ig_tumblr_share&igshid=18h9dlmkgo59o

Brainstorm...In the works: New board model, the first of its kind. The waves have been very small in Cali for awhile, but it’s still been fun. The #zipstitchsurfboard and #monstroscillous and #sputniksurfboard have been redeeming the tiny days. Then came the news that we are finally gonna get a good swell, and it triggered something mysterious in my mind. What if I combined the centerline rocker of the zipstitch with the outline of a swallowtail #monstasurfboard , added the concaves of the #jetstreamsurfboard and four short channels running off the tail??? A nitrous speeder with regulatable turbulence smoothing capacities at top speed...a board that never redlines, but the faster it goes the smoother she runs...these are my thought for this new baby. But what shall it be called? ....Monsta/Zip/Jet...?? (at Proctor Surfboards Worldwide Custom)

Stoked surfer reports: this just in >> "Hey Proctors, Hope you all are doing well. I know it has been awhile since I took delivery of the Monsta HD jetstream but my rehab from hip replacement took a little longer than expected. Summer flat spell didn't help much either. Spent most of the summer on a 9'2 so the transition to a 5'11 was huge. BUT... this thing is a crazy paddler Todd so it really helped. And thanks to Hurricane Maria finally got the chance to see what this boards about. You are definitely on to something, fastest board I've ever ridden here hands down. And love the responsiveness! Exactly what we talked about came shining through. Mission accomplished. Already trying to decide what I want to order next for El Sal in the spring.
