Boris Petrovich Sveshnikov (1927-1998)
Painter, graphic artist, book artist. A representative of "unofficial art", known primarily for his "camp suite" (or "Gulag Art"). He studied at the Moscow Institute of Applied and Decorative Arts (1945-46). Since 1958 he has been a member of the Union of Artists of the USSR. Exhibitions with the participation of B.P. Sveshnikov was held in Montgeron, France (1976); Bochum, Germany (1979); Moscow (1987 and 1988).

Participant of art exhibitions.
