Once she escaped, she has to travel through a wartorn land again, being exposed to the horrors of war. Then she's kidnapped by the Hound. He's abusive towards her. She sees the events of the Red Wedding. She manages to leave him behind and travel to Braavos. At the House of Black and White, she's ocassionally beaten and regularly brainwashed.

@moonjongyeup you gotta reread what I wrote because I’m not saying she didn’t deal with horrible shit no child should deal with, I’m saying she does not have it worse and is not in as actively a dangerous situation as the other Stark kids. Rickon, Sansa, and Bran all have it actively worse. Arya is always in at least semi-safety and around nice people, even when they’re in dangerous situations or held by terrible people.

Also I don’t know why the hell people keep calling the house of Black and White ‘brainwashing.’ She’s smacked when she does wrong but she even says when she first goes there that everyone is incredibly kind with the exception of a cook that slaps her hands when she tries stealing food while she’s making it. She is not being brainwashed, she put herself in a situation of being a servant of a church and they are teaching her their literal beliefs and letting her know over and over again that she does not need to do this if she doesn’t want to, she can decide to be whoever she wants, she can even just go be Cat of the Canals if she’d like and not be bothered with the Many-Faced God ever again. Over and over, they say, ‘only some men are meant to serve’ and tell her they’re not forcing her. SHE is the one that decides she wants to. She rationalizes it in her head that she has nowhere else to go but they even literally give her plenty of options, including just living as Cat of the Canals. 

Maybe the show is to blame for this??? But at least what we see in the books the House of Black and White is probably the best, most forgiving religion we’ve seen in this universe and as long as Arya is there she is infinitely safer than the other living Stark children and actually has her own agency there.
