whenever I think about what it would be like if yoichi joined afo, I always end up with the same concept where he eventually caves in after a couple years in the Torture Cube that is the vault (whether he's able to pass on ofa before all that is up for debate) and like. yeah he'll do villian things and murder people but afo generally likes to give him easy, insignificant jobs that any semi competent person can do. so he usually doesn't get to do any real action and is mostly relegated to making sure one of afo's many money laundering businesses are running okay or whatever kind of white collar crime afo has going on. so he constantly feels belittled, sheltered, devoid of purpose, etc., and the vault didn't even completely kill off his morals so there's just this constant pervading sense of guilt with everything he does. no matter what, there's always this nagging sensation of defeat and shame at every waking moment. but he can't even rebel bc at this point he's so afraid of going back to the vault that he'll do anything to stay out, so he's stuck living an intensely miserable life while trapped with his brother lol

having Yoichi Thoughts rn and I just find it so funny how much of his backstory feels like some shitty ya dystopian novel. hes just your average guy that just so happens to have an ~ultra special~ hidden power that's the only thing that can resist the power wielded by a corrupt man trying to control and rule the society they live in. he has two love interest, but it's obvious which one he's actually in love with and the other is just there for tension. yet instead of killing his brother and living a happily married life with 2nd, they all die and spend their after life in the worst kind of hell (a teenage boys mind)

favorite flavor of dfo is where inko divorced afo, remaried all might and every once in a while she likes to get drunk and talk shit about her ex. so every time afo and all might see each other (visiting izuku or otherwise), all might has that annoying, smug smile that can only come from knowing your mortal enemy/partners ex ruined all his clothes by trying/failing to work the washing machine. and set multiple grease fires in the kitchen because he's never cooked in his life. and getting convinced inko was doing a funny bit while getting served divorce papers and taking an embarrassingly long time to realize she was serious. he never says anything to afo and it pisses him off sooooo bad
