reading posts on old cartoon forums from when generator rex was airing is my new favourite hobby. people keep comparing gen rex to x-men and it's undeniable that there are a lot of x-men parallels, but also this show was made by man of action, Joe Kelly, Joe Casey, Steven T Seagle and Duncan Rouleau, all x-men writers and an artist.

#tho i do have to disagree with some of the comparisons between van kleiss and magneto #magneto genuinely cared about mutant rights van kleiss just wanted power and was willing to use evos to get it #generator rex #also fun fact that joe kelly wrote a lot of early deadpool comics and was the first to introdruce his fourth wall breaking #although later writers would expand this idea and establish the fourth wall breaks most well associated with deadpool it did start with joe #which is cool cuz there are actually a few fourth wall breaks in gen rex #most notably the aside that holiday has in the ben 10 crossover #man of action
