a lesbian's attachment to a weird guy truly is sg that needs examining like. why clint

people have so many preconceived beliefs about clint that aren't true in canon and that come only from the fandom. like if you ask the average stardew fan why they dislike clint they would tell you it's because he's creepy. but if you actually examine the scenes they talk about, it just doesn't add up

"he's creepy towards emily" his dialogue towards her is no creepier than alex and harvey towards their respected rival romances

"he stalks her" this is categorically false. the heart event they're referring to is one where he hides in a bush in front of her house....waiting for her to leave so he can make his escape. he was going to ask her out and heard her coming towards the front door and he panicked and hid in the closest bush.

as someone with severe anxiety I just get it. what's the post that's like "being ugly and having a crush feels like being a sexual predator" except its people perceiving you being as such. his biggest crime is having a crush on your waifu 🙄

Straight girls....bi-curious girls. Listen she is the definition of non-committal, so why bother with girls that might fall in love with her? Plus she prefers being the top anyways and just enjoys getting them off.

No. Besides the fact that she's demiromantic, it's just something she always believed to be bullshit

Before Ava? No. But with Ava, her feelings got really complicated and she ended up spilling it out. But in her defense! She did not say the words....it was just heavily implied.

Violet: Clint's wife. They were childhood sweethearts and got married relatively young. as such she's rather protective of him. She's outgoing and kind, becoming close with the other moms in Pelican Town. She works as Gunther's assistant in the library/museum and geeks out about artifacts

Marisol: Clint and Violet's daughter. She'd the opposite of both of her parents, preferring to stay outside all day and getting dirty. She loves sports of all kind, but especially gridball. She's convinced the reason Alex is so reluctant to play with her is because she would destroy him and he could no longer claim the title of best gridball player 😤

Valerie: A restaurant that Ambrose reserved out just for the two of them, maybe some violinists in the background. They have expensive wine and a decadent meal, all ending with him on one knee proposing to her.

Julia: In The Alnwick Garden. Her being in England with Grayson, just the two of them in deadly nature....it's perfect.

Kirby: They do not care. They never even thought about marriage before Glitch's romantic soul came into their life. So however she wants to propose, that's their ideal

Siobhan: She wants something low-key, she just wants it to be her, Kenna, and the dogs. Maybe a home cook dinner, watching their favorite movie and being asked the question.

9) What is your OC’s favorite small way to show their love?

Valerie: Love notes. She places little notes into random places for Ambrose to find. Sometimes his work jacket, his bag, or even in the rice cooker.

Julia: She's just like her brother in the fact that she shows love by cooking and baking. Cookies, cakes, spaghetti where she made the noodles herself. Grayson always goes to work with a packed lunch and will never have to eat burnt food again.

Kirby: Asking questions. It's how they show that they're interested in what you have to say, they want to learn more about it.

Siobhan: Spending time together. Even if it's just sitting in silence while the two do different things. She loves simply coexisting.

10) What is your OC’s favorite big way to show their love?

Valerie: sex By planning date nights that are over the top. Balloons, rose petals, the whole works.

Julia: Letting Grayson drag her to go on hikes and camping trips. The sun does not agree with her but she is willing to do whatever she can to make Grayson smile.

Kirby: Writing bad, sappy love poems for Glitch. She's always reciting poems to them, so they really want to put in the effort to do the same.

Siobhan: Doing ridiculous things for the dogs. You think Kenna is over the top? Ha! On one of their adoption days, she put together an entire birthday party and invited other dogs in the neighborhood to all come and visit so it was a big ol play date.
