Pretty woman is a classic rom-com movie which made Julia Roberts popular during the 90′s. On her breakfast scene on the movie, she started eating a croissant but seconds later she was already munching a pancake. No one knows how Roberts's croissant mysteriously transformed to a piece of pancake. The editor might have missed to notice that the pancake just came out of nowhere since it already has a bite taken out of it when they cut back to her. However, I do think that this is just a minor detail on editing and could be unnoticeable to most viewers (just like me who doesn’t put much attention to smallest details!).

Tip #166: TRY GETTING AWAY WITH MISTAKES. Magicians pull off magic by controlling what the audience is looking at. The same principle can rescue filmmakers. For example, the original “King Kong” (1933), includes a scene in which electric transmission wires appear in the background. Those wires would be out of place on Skull Island. But few members of the audience see the wires because their attention is focused on the exciting action in the foreground. For a contemporary example, take a look at these frames from “Supraluminique,” a Mobile Movie of the Week directed by Benjamin Lapierre and Alexandre Gaudou. You’ll find the answer in the comments section. Should you find yourself in this situation—that is, something you don’t want in the frame—because you cut it out or reshoot, run the clip by a test audience. If you’re lucky, they won’t notice the glitch. Goodefellas. There are 2 scenes of Stacks being shot. I n one of them 4 shots are fired, in the other 5. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x3-3mW5mphA

What makes this even worse is that the scenes are back to back. The first has a kind of over the shoulder view of Tommy (Joe Pesci) shooting Stacks in the back of the head once, blood splattering all over the sheets on Stacks bed, then the sound of three more gunshots, none of which are seen. Then Tommy and his associate leave. The very next scene is a shot of Tommy with his arm outstretched holding the gun, Stacks isn't in the frame. Tommy fires one shot, there is a pause, then he fires four more times, we see the cartridge ejected from the chamber for each of the five shots. This is INEXCUSABLE.
