okay so ig its scu posting time!

i feel as though i came out unclear. i didn't just WANT to write the fic, i DID WRITE IT!

i worked on this fic for months, and its a crossover fic that i tried my best with, it took me so long cause i had fallen out of dsmp (the crossover part) and i am severely mentally ill

but first...the referenced fic! its an scu!god bebo character study and its very fun (and by fun i mean super charged angst)

i also found an scu chat fic but ill talk about that one tmr

originally titled as scu brainrot is something you get when you join and theres no going back, it basically follows zombie apocolpyse charlie as he goes through dsmp with the memories of being human. i plan to add in detail shit in the last chapter but yeah

btw current title is Grasping What Humanity Means (As Someone Who No Longer Is)

i plan to do ANOTHER scu fic (after i punch out a couple other fics for jrwi cause obsession <- a couple is about 100 fic ideas i have prepared in my mind rotating) which is only SCU focused meaning ill be a lot more motivated for it!

itll be called A God's Punishments, which basically entails protraying the gods in similar way that rick rieordan (i cant spell srry) portrays the greek gods, in a negative ligfht and deserving of being taught lessons. and all the goat man has to do is show mr.cicle what damage the gods have truly done.

What if Mr.Cicle’s final monologue represented Karl’s endless cycle of time travelling instead?

“Congratulations! You beat the maze! Despite all odds, you won and we can all finally go home”- You’ve made it to the Other Side! The Inbetween can’t get to you anymore, you’re safe, you can go home

“That’s... what I’ve been practicing to say to you, but I can’t. You made it through the maze, you didn’t beat it”- Sadly, that’s not The case. You might’ve gotten out of the Inbetween, but that isn’t the end of it. The Inbetween was just a part of the larger game.

“There was always a way out, but you became so focused on running the rat race and getting to that cheese, you didn’t even think to look for the cracks”- You’ve been trying so hard to get through the different stories that you’ve never looked for a true way out. You were so caught up in searching for the answer that you didn’t try to find an escape.

“And I don’t blame you, I’m just.... disappointed. You’re going to go back now, like I do! Over and over until something breaks, and it’ll probably, be you!”- It’s not your fault that this is happening. However, you’re stuck in this cycle, forced to repeat this game of time made by entities out of your comprehension, until either you get out of it or it breaks you.

the best i can explain the 'process' is kinda just >looking at other people's interpretations of [character], thinking how can I make it look different X3c from the rest yet respectful to [character] >after that it's a matter of actually thinking of a singular concept/feature that i Definitely want to include and just full on honing, building on that concept
