Though Edgar had lived in Hopewell for nearly four years already, he’d never taken the time to decorate. Homely just wasn’t an aesthetic that he strove for. His home was serviceable. It had a space for him to meditate, somewhere for him to work out when he didn’t feel like going to the gym, somewhere for him to sleep, and a space for Nagini. What more could he possibly need? 

Everything, according to his sister. “Fine,” Edgar huffed, a slightly exasperated edge to his voice. “You win.” They’d talked about this before but he’d always insisted that he was fine with how things were. “I’ll redecorate, but you’re making a list of all the things I need.”

It had been a while since Ava went on any kind of date both platonic and romantic. But either way she was excited to see what the plan was for the night. Everything in the box she got seemed right up her ally of fun and chill. Ava wasn’t mad about her date partner either. Given the choices, she was actually relieved when it turned out to be Sofie. There was just something about her that made Ava feel like they would get along fine. Once she manged to track down Sofie, she gave the women a grin. “Hey. So now that I got this box, I’m curious as to what the little horse toy is about.” she asked curious.

Sofie was usually more alert, better on her feet but she’d found herself distracted. It wasn’t hard to do in a small town, it seemed safer, though she never truly let her guard down. Kneeling down next to the woman she offered her a soft smile as she helped her pick up her bag, ensuring that nothing escaped. “Atleast let me buy you a coffee as an apology. Its the least I can do for not paying attention” 

Emery gave a soft smile back to the women when she helped with her bag. Thankfully never fell out of it. It was her work bag and that would of been the worst kind of stuff to lose. She shook her head. “That’s sweet but really it’s fine. I shouldn’t have darted around the corner the way I did anyway.” she shrugged. “Plus I can’t even imagine the line in there and you shouldn’t have to go through it again.” The thought already gave Emery a dread. “Maybe I’ll just cut my losses and try and get coffee at work.”

Ava was ready for a good workout. She enjoyed spending time at the gym. It didn’t the time of day, it was her time to unwind and get in shape. Plus Ava was the type who enjoyed her alone time. She placed a ear bud in her ear. The last thing she wanted was some creek bugging her. She looked around for what to do first. The gym was looking pretty busy. All of her favorites machines were all taken. Ava knew she was going to have to adapt. She looked and saw an open machine and rushed to it. “Hey is this machine taken at all?” she asked the women next to her. Ava knew that sometimes people would try to find ways to claim equipment prior to using it.
