GAMES FOR IMPACT = Spiritfarer* * This is the only category I am riding serious hopes on.  If Spiritfarer does not win games for impact, then this category is meaningless.  This game actually had an important message: a message about dealing with loss and mourning.  If they’re gonna skip that for MUH REPRESENTATION or MUH ARTSY FARTSY NEW AGE FEELZ then this category doesn’t need to exist.

GOTY = Ghostrunner* Animal Crossing New Horizons *Seriously, they are sleeping on Ghostrunner.  Ghostrunner is amazing.  Great music, great gameplay, great story, great voice acting, great level design, absolutely grade-A cyberpunk action/platforming experience.  Its a hard game, and it might make you cry with how tough it is, but passing a section is soooooo rewarding and it never feels like its the game’s fault if you’re struggling and very fairly-designed.  If you’ve read down to this part, GO PLAY GHOSTRUNNER RIGHT FRIGGIN NOW YOU DOLT

I would love to learn 3-D modeling, and truly I could almost entirely for free if I just bothered to sit down and follow tutorials and practice, but I’m really ADD when it comes to learning new things unless I am 1000% interested in the subject matter at the time. This is probably why I hook into fandoms, absorb every tidbit of information, and then abandon them a month later.
