honestly i was thinkng about naming it “octonauts but…” again but i figured everyone knew the twist by now -.- plus its not as fun hiding it bc there’s no bait and switch like the first one

dashi speaks french and inkling speaks arabic here!!! fun fact originally barnacles was gonna speak russian but the russian dub only dubbed seasons 1-2 and left everything else to voiceover which would’ve SRSLY LIMITED my episode options!!!

it’s fun thinking that everyone here just understands each other :3

teh ppl who look at my blog often see stuff liek dubbing comparisons, dubbing fun facts, and octonauts multilanguaged (which i am vry proud of)

maybs they see my dubbing nonsense pop up in the octonauts tag and think "again? whats the deal with dubbing anyways"

and my deal!!! my deal is that i just SO SUPER LOVE DUBBING

its just...... hearing a character in a different language and hearing how a different voice actor can make someone so diffrent? MAN i just love watching multilanguage videos and mentally noting each difference and thinking “sick”

AND NOT TO MENTION THE TRANSLATIONS!!!! my fvaorite part about learning about dubs is hearing how jokes translate (plz tell me abt them if u watch octonauts in any other languages :3) and i so love it when cultural references are changed depending on the language!! also wordplay and alliteration and portmanteaus being translated is so awesome
