It’s been speculated before, every member of the spinosaurid family has been considered semi-aquatic creatures or at least living near bodies of water to feed, The spinosaurs being the only one speculated to actually be able to swim like crocodiles do. 

That’s the main reason to why I chose Elymaz’s lusus to be a Spino.]
