I just got several promo singles:

the Basia Bulat one has a promo-only radio mix of Infamous that’s a bit crisper than the album version

the Health one has a promo-only radio edit of Stonefist which doesn’t fade into Men Today and is just a few seconds shorter than the album version but also adds several seconds of Victim as an intro (similar to the promo edit of Owen Pallett’s The Riverbed)

the Love Ssega one is just the Minds EP but it was cheaper than getting it digitally from Google Play

the Nadia Nair one has 2 of her last 3 singles which will probably be on her album but I couldn’t wait bc bops and also it’s in a nice card sleeve

just re-listened to it and if I ever get around to making a Favourite Albums of All Time list I’ll definitely have to include Tina Turner’s Break Every Rule, I used to think it was just the nostalgia factor but tbh it still sounds pretty great 30 years after release and as far as I know it hasn’t been remastered yet. Girls and I’ll Be Thunder are fantastically dramatic, Typical Male and What You Get Is What You See are so much fun, and Afterglow is that sad synthpop bop that Swedish pop gurlz would die for
