can’t afford to ramble about him TOO much because I do need to eventually get to that essay lol but I do just love like. a lot of deacon is up to player interpretation just by nature of his character but i love how for a serial liar he’s just so GENUINE. also I do be reading too much into the fact that his story is one of grace and redemption and growth and healing and he CHOSE the code name deacon and I have 0 doubt that the man who loves old-world information and reads a lot chose the code name Deacon on purpose and not on accident. man is complex and I jive with his morals and thinking a lot and love seeing a character who’s flawed and growing and wrestling with themselves. also a goofball.

anyway I love him. I understand why we can’t romance him in game because it wouldn’t make much sense for him to do that but also Todd Howard I would like to romance the sunglasses wearing bald ginger spy. at least one of my sole survivor’s dates and marries him lol
