My dad is here working on the basement again and he came into the bedroom where I was resting with the cats to give me an update.
and this huge 70-year old midwestern man who can't help but mutter half-hearted cats-are-weird insults every time he sees a feline, starts gently petting Yogurt and adding words like "cute" and "little"
#yogurt#I have yet to meet a single human being who does not instantaneously fall in love with Yogurt specifically#he has mind control powers#no one can resist#my dad has that weird Midwestern Man thing where cats=snooty and dogs=man's best friend#it's rooted in like weird blind sexism#even though my dad is anything but actually sexist#he nontheless thinks all dogs are good boys and all cats are mean girls#I mean Bonnie is happy to be called a good boy as long as she gets a french fry from grandpa#it's just funny to me that in his head animals come in Absolute Genders which are also Good vs. Evil
