its weird how much of a stale taste the sinnoh games left in my mouth when i was a kid; whats funnier still is how even now playing PLA, even as much as i enjoy it, theres still this blandness for me that just makes it feel duller than it should

it took me forever to realize why, bc i think the sinnoh games i good games, i just dont click with them much at all even though theyre full of features i Loved

i didnt like sinnohs starters. i still dont, theyre my least favourite batch

i disliked sinnohs fossil pokemon- again, they ended up being my least favourite fossil pokemon

a lot of the evolutions and pokemon introduced just werent my favourite

i was Stupid as a kid- still am

i didnt and still dont really know how to use fun extra features in the games

sinnoh was a feast of fun extra features which i just didnt access at all

and the part that i cared about most in the game, what new pokemon id get to see, completely underwhelmed me

as a result it just didnt stick for me as especially joyful
