Grew up with migraines all our life due to childhood brain damage, we have a few pointers of our own.
-The human brain operates better with cool temperatures, so anything that cools your head down works. Obvious wet rag aside, a fan up close, just splashing cold water on your face, or the like help as well.
-reduce brightness! dim your monitor, turn off ceiling lights and switch to lamps, use apps that turn the screen warmer colors, etc. bright lights worsen migraines
-aromatherapy can help, especially lavender, just keep in mind some smells can cause migraines instead so tread carefully
-relaxing music you vibe to makes the symptoms/pain a lot less worse. so if you notice some songs feel you better, stick that in a playlist for later!
