One of my big accomplishments today was creating a double-knitting chart for a chickadee:

Hopefully someday I'll get around to knitting it!

You are welcome to use it if you want, as long as you credit me.

Remember that the stitches in double knitting are wider than they are high, so if you try to use this chart for a different technique you will end up with an unusually tall chickadee.

I decided to share an update of my current wip because all I need to do now is fill it with white.

I don‘t look forward to it.

But because I also want to give it some extra the most inner and most outer stitches will be made with glow in the dark yarn.

It‘s the Grey Warden emblem and the plan is to sew it on a banner. But that is for later.

If someone wants to stitch this too… or a better variation… please find the free BASIC pattern here (And feel free to tag me if you do!)

I changed my own pattern a lot, green is silver and I added stitches of silver between dark blue and black/gray…. I might add the frame.

Inspired partly by @falseknees I knit a chickadee!

I say partly because I chose my reference photo a few months ago, but then Kneesvember motivated me to actually create the chart. That and my friend who wanted me to show her how to double knit over the holidays.

So this square is dedicated to Fuzzie!
