Another hot take but Epic III change in West End (and now on Broadway) is such a damn bummer. It’s so much worse than Broadway original verse. Like we fools were complaining about nytw to Broadway Epic III pipeline but it at least didn’t feel dumb and awkward.

Like, Anaïs, my love, I beg of you, leave the Epics alone, fix one thing 99% of Hadestown fans ask of you - Persephone Chant 2 verse. Like Broadway Epic worked, West End Epic 3 last verse is so awkward it’s disturbing and the show objectively looses in total without Persephone’s perspective. Just do one change people want from you and leave the show as it is.
