#my take on the great debate. I think that to pick out scott/Wallace over scott/Kim or his other doomed relationships misses the point

Scott Pilgrim’s great lesbians (loves) are Kim, Envy and Ramona. A little edgy, snarky, ultimately kind, career-oriented, have it together professionally but sloppy personally, concerned with their reputation but that reputation is of being unapproachable and unassailable. They’re people who have ambitions beyond their lot. Envy wants a real career and not a hobby, Kim wants Sex Bob-Omb (and her in it) not to be a joke, Ramona’s string of exes are various attempts to build an identity and a role. Scott likes to be carried along and what he needs to learn is how to slipstream behind the women he cares about and push them forward instead of being a drag. What I’m saying is that Wallace is Scott’s type and that Scott is absolutely not Wallace’s.
