Thoughts at 1am....

Being handicapped/disabled/whatever the fucking term is sucks

Today I was in a ton of pain and had to use two canes which I haven’t for a while and my left eye was acting up really bad... probably because I overdid it at work yesterday!

My eye was so bad that it felt like someone had it in a vice grip and then even worse, I guess a vessel popped or got swollen or something cause the eye turned bright red and it felt like a rock was trapped under the eyelid! The oncall doc told me to use a special eye drop and thankfully it helped cause google was going on and on about corneal abrasions .. ugh

So why do I mention this??? Cause 99% of my days/nights suck and are struggles so I tend to do my best to maximize the perks!

Tonight was the SC game .. that means getting tickets was impossible. How impossible? The line for those with student season tickets was almost half a mile long with students trying to get in... and many were turned away! The place was absolutely filled to capacity! Those who did get in, started lining up around 7am in the rain for a 7pm game!

I can’t do that with my health, there's just no way. But I have a wrist band that lets me enter the office worker door when the student doors open and i can head down to the floor seating from there without waiting hours and hours and I have a guaranteed attendant ticket tat I can buy each game and take a friend! So for the impossible sold out game, I got to take my buddy who wouldn’t have been able to go otherwise and we had a blast!

Its a perk.. and I am thankful for it!
