T made my voice drop by basically 2 full octaves, i've gone from a mid-range "young woman" voice, not an alto by any means, into just. HARD BASS. DEEP. silly me, i'd worried that because i'm short i would at best sound like the king of squeak - instead i gained the ability to bellow! i sound like that guy at the far edge of every folk choir who pumps out a steady infra-sound under everyone else. i have to shift most songs at least a half-octave lower just to be able to sing them. it's great

#my voice never felt 'rich' before but you could slather it on toast now its like rumbling butter #it sounds so good in my favourite folk songs! and i finally feel the way i want to feel when singing them -#deep and rolling in my chest and not soaring off to high heights because i couldn't do low notes with my meager mid-range nonsense #maybe i was just meant to be the infrasound guy in a choir and this was the universe setting things right #(provided i dont have to sing higher than my range allows. have yet to perfect that but its so much fun to sing IN range that i dont mind)#personal
