my regal jumping spider ❤️ her abdomen used to be a bright orange but it's lost its colour in her old age :( their lifespan is typically 1-1.5 years but this girl has managed to almost make it to two!!

Look who came out to say hello 💕 everyone else is still hiding but my Brazilian blonde is now sitting on top of the cork bark cave just chillin.

Still need to come up with names for everyone. Might name this cutie here Zahra 🖤

my 4 new tarantulas arrived today!! the one on the right there is my brazilian blonde, she is so much damn bigger than i was expecting lol, the website listed her as 1.5″ but she’s definitely at least 3″ considering her legspan took up almost the entire 4″ enclosure i put her in. so she’s going to need an upgrade soon.

didn’t get pictures of anyone else though, everyone was pretty stressed from shipping, my mexican pink stayed in a stress pose the entire time. basically just got everyone into their enclosures as quick as i could and before i could take any pics they had all burrowed under the cork bark caves i made

dunno when i’ll see anyone again lmao. going to set up a night cam tonight to see if anyone makes an appearance.

finally got around to rehousing some spiders into the new tarantula cribs enclosures!

my E.campestratus let me hold her for a second while i moved her. i swear she's the calmest tarantula i have. no hair kicking or bolting from her 💕 she's so sweet.

also my A.geniculata (second pic) decided to "hide" in her water dish when i rehoused her lmao, i was able to just pick up the entire bowl and put it in the new enclosure. so easy.

my largest tarantula, my n.tripepii aka brazilian blonde is molting right now and i’m so excited!! she’s in her cave lying on her back with all her leggies in the air,

i tried to get a picture but she webbed up the entrance to the cave pretty good and that’s all my camera wants to focus on 🙄 can’t wait to see how much bigger she is after this molt!!
