Sealing the Shadow of Sallow

Warning: Smut implied, MC in a sexy outfit.

~Characters are aged up to 18.~

Spoiling him for a night after a hard visit with his sister wasn't going to be easy, but her heart was set on the stunning Scotsman. How could she not? He was everything she wanted & more. He was a fighter with a heart of gold for his sister & yet, still so willing to try to help understand the strange magic that surrounded his home & that lied within her. Sebastian's mind was a trainwreck of emotions & questions to which, answers eluded him. He needed time to sort his mind, but she decided that he needed an out for his tangled emotions. She took him through the gateway... back into the Undercroft... for a night of blissful pleasure & happiness that he deserved.

He was more than ready to devour her in the outfit she wore that night. Sebastian was starved for love itself & here she was, in an outfit that was too naughty to ever be worn elsewhere, ready to spoil him? Sebastian didn't think he'd get such a treat for his final year, especially on his birthday, but he knew that the past five years had taken their toll on him & her... so what was one night? "Bloody hell woman! Come get me!! I've been a good boy for the last two years... you know this!" The prideful Scotsman pulled her into his lap & let his instincts take over... completely losing himself to her... all to finally have a connection in every way to the one he had been chasing ever since she arrived two years ago. Being one with her, feeling her ancient magic flow over him as she begged for more felt so forbidden & yet... so damn right to him. She was rare in magic, even moreso than Ominis with his parselmouth ability & Sebastian was the luckiest man alive to take her that night... marking her as his so none could have her. He didn't know how long it had been since they started, but he didn't care, because he was happy to have her, to finally call her his girl... for eternity.

"Damn... you got me wore out... but we best go back to the common room before sunrise. We have half the year to go before graduation, but... you've no idea how much I needed that." He needed a shower before retreating off to bed, but he was sated for the first time. His mind was finally cleared out & all the stress from the years gone by had disappeared for the time being. Thankfully, she was a Slytherin as well, so she wasn't going anywhere but with him. He snuck her off to the bathroom with him, giving her one last round of loving before finally cleaning her & himself back up. "You know what? Forget going back to bed. It's too close to dawn now for that & some are more than likely already stirring downstairs. Lets just go lay on the couch & make it look like we fell asleep studying."

With that, he drew his wand & changed her from the sexy witch outfit back into her Yuletide outfit & wrapped her in his favorite blanket before lying down behind her. He pulled her back into his arms, letting her snuggle up to him. It wasn't long before he noticed that she had fallen asleep, basking in her afterglow with a smile on her face as she rolled over & laid her head on his shoulder. He gave her one last kiss on her neck before letting out the truth in her ears. "You're mine now & I won't let anybody take you from me." Sebastian fell asleep with her in his arms, letting her scent lead him into a deep slumber that he hadn't had in nearly a decade. For once in his life, he slept in peace, finally having the girl of his dreams both marked by him & in his arms at last.

Last Show/Movie: Welp, I did just mention Masked Singer, so there’s that. As for movie, I went to see the Super Mario Movie on Friday. It was fun! Lots of references and silly humor, good enough for me!

Currently Watching: Mmm, nothing at the moment, apart from Masked Singer and Miraculous Ladybug. Oh, does Bluey count? 😂 It’s on while I get ready for work and also at midnight when I’m curling up to sleep. I keep wanting to pick up a series but I’m always too busy with something else or just not in the mood for anything. Though I’ve been tempted to rewatch “My Holo Love”, a kdrama that came out literally just before the pandemic and that I binged in like 2-3 days during a bout of loneliness.

Currently Reading: buggachat’s “drowning (in plain sight)”, a Miraculous Ladybug fic centered on Adrien Agreste, which I actually haven’t touched in weeks because I’ve been busy but gosh I want to finish it because it’s so good.

Current Obsession: Still Miraculous Ladybug, clearly. XD Especially with two new episodes that just came out. Sadly, I was MEGA busy this weekend and haven’t watched them yet, but I definitely will, hopefully tonight?

Summary:

Sebastian Sallow isn't the man he used to be... not after a decade in Azkaban... or is he?

Sebastian had fallen from grace, retreating into himself for what he had done. No longer the extroverted show-off, he had instead gone silent & moved with the shadows. He regretted murdering his uncle, but nobody seemed to understand his reason why. Even worse? He had broken out of Azkaban & escaped unscathed, but not without leaving a trail of dead goblins & dead dark mages in his wake.

He returned to Scotland more powerful than ever, stealing books by the moonlight & returning them by the next nightfall to keep increasing his strength. He had learned to break curses, even Imperio & Crucio, by the books & training his ass off in the Forbidden Forest. Spiders, trolls, it didn't matter the foe he faced as long as he broke the curse he had inflicted upon them. The poachers & what remained of Rookwood's ashwinders were killed on sight for what had happened to his sister. He'd even found a few remaining loyalists of Rankrok's still roaming around his home of Feldcroft & killed them too.

Sebastian's heart had gone cold, no longer caring who saw his trail of blood in the fallen goblins, mages, trolls, dubogs & spiders. But word did get around that somebody was taking out countless foes with curses, although they didn't know who. Most suspected the Gaunts, but not Ominis, not since he took over the Auror department. None of them suspected that it was Sebastian Sallow... the boy who killed his own uncle. However, it wouldn't be long before someone found him.

"Go fucking figure! It would be you, Ominis! Why? Is it my life you want?" The blond felt the rage simmering off of his old friend, ready to take him out if he made a wrong move. "No, Sebastian, although I should rightfully throw your arse back in Azkaban for the bloody trail you've left & escaping. But what good will that do? You've broken out once already & I know you'll find a way to do it again. You were too smart to stay locked up for long at Hogwarts when we got into trouble as well." Sebastian looked on at Ominis, wondering what his fate would be. "I know you won't use a curse on me either, so how do you plan to end me? Snakes? I can see you doing that." Ominis shook his head & smiled. "Why take your life when you're worth more Galleons than my entire team? I have a better idea. I'll make you a cursebreaker & let you be the executioner to the darkest wizards & witches... especially my family." Sebastian had a dark smirk crawling across his face. "Ohh! I get to save innocents & throw down as I see fit when called to end the lives of the damned? Count me in."

Ominis gave a sly smirk, knowing how his old friend loved the thrill of the fight & breaking all the rules to get things done. “Yes, but, I know how much you use the curses by instinct, so, in exchange for taking out every idiot on my list as you see fit & cure the victims, I’ll cover your tracks. I’ll make sure you stay hidden until the list is cleared of the worst mages. Should you be ready to come out to the public, none but me can reveal you. You’re my rogue cursebreaker Sebastian & I intend for your comeback to be glorious.” Redemption for Sebastian wouldn’t be easy, but Ominis was willing to pull strings as hard as he could for this. He knew Sebastian had acted out of rage back then, but he had been patient & Sebastian had grown since then.

Sebastian was smiling darkly, but the happiness within him burned bright. He ached for battle, ached for freedom, but even more so, to redeem himself for his sister & make sure she was avenged. “Fine with me. Whatever darkness is kicking your ass, I’ll end it, whoever needs the curses broken, I’m more than up for. Anne deserves to be avenged this way anyway. I’m not alright in my mind, not sane enough to face her…yet.” He couldn’t fathom facing his sister now, not for all he had done, but he hoped that working with Ominis would work off the years of sadness, rage & pain he felt. If he never saw Anne again, he’d at least come to terms in knowing that he’d fight in her honor by helping those who suffered like she did.

Ominis hung his head low when Anne was mentioned, for he was the only one who knew what had happened to her. “Speaking of Anne, your sister is in critical condition. The sickness has forced her into near full paralysis & she’s now in hospice care. She’s nearly out of time Sebastian, so I’m afraid that if you don’t see her soon, she’ll die. Cruciform was cast upon her with so much hatred that her body has broke down from the years of pain, but…if you think you can do it…you just might be able to save her.” Tears fell from his blue eyes just thinking about Anne dying, knowing Sebastian would truly be broken forever from it & lose what sanity he had left. The sadness tore at him, until Sebastian hugged him.

“Oh shit! No…” His heart was breaking, his mind racing, every instinct now screaming to be with her. Tears fell from his dark eyes for the first time since he was jailed, the shock locking his heart down into survival mode once more. “She has one chance left Ominis & I intend for you to be there with us when I do it. I’ll free her if you have the healing power in some way. I want to break her curse first & I’ll do anything for it.” He couldn't take the pain knowing what Anne's fate was, nor could he ignore the instinct that now howled in him. {SAVE HER!} He didn't care what the price was, as long as Anne got her freedom. "If it means being locked away for the rest of my life again, then so be it, I'll give my freedom for her. I don't fucking care!" Tears fell from Sebastian's dark brown eyes, his voice broke into a full scream as the pain of Anne's suffering hit him inside once more. His sister was his undoing, because nothing mattered more than her.

Ominis had never heard Sebastian break down like this, not since he killed his Uncle Soloman. No, Sebastian was more broken over Anne than the murder he had committed in the past. He still put his own sister over himself, so willing to help her that he'd give up everything if it meant she lived. "I honestly hope it doesn't come to that Sebastian. I don't want you to be locked up for your murder if you save Anne. That should be redemption & it is as far as I'm concerned." His bright blue eyes landed on Sebastian, even though he couldn't see without his wand, they still showed the emotion in them. "I'll do what I can to convince the Ministry to let you remain free if you save her & stay in as our rogue cursebreaker. I will do everything to keep you out of Azkaban, but I'll kick somebody's ass myself if Anne not only is cured, but makes a full recovery too because of you! Matter of fact, why don't we do like we used to? Let's go sneak off to her room tonight & see what we can do while she sleeps."

Sebastian's eyes lit up, his heart aching, his blood burning, but the adrenaline was higher than it had ever been for him. "I can't believe this, I can't believe that you're willing to break every rule for me & her." Ominis smirked. "You & her are the ONLY family I ever truly had, so, I owe both of you everything." The proud blond wasn't one to waste time, not when Anne was at the end of her rope with her sickness. He grabbed Sebastian's hand & pulled him up into his arms. "I can be mad at you for a lot of things, but you're desire to save Anne is one that I can't be mad about."

Ominis managed to open a portal straight to the hallway where Anne's room was, not daring to wake her. The boys made it to her room without any delay & Ominis opened the door as quietly as he could. He & Sebastian walked in, but upon seeing Anne's face, tears fell from Sebastian's dark eyes as he went to her side. Anne turned towards him, opening her eyes... not believing what she saw. "No... no way..." She started crying as soon as she met his eyes, breaking down entirely. "Sebastian!! Ohh! Brother!" She jumped up with what strength she had, hugging him as she cried.

Ominis, knew that this is what they needed, but time was of the essence. "What do you say Sebastian? You have very little time to save her & your freedom is on the line." The twins turned to him, fighting down their emotions. "I'll do it... you know damn well I will." Sebastian's eyes had a wildfire burning in them & although she broke down crying, Anne knew the truth of her own brother. He'd give his life for hers to eliminate her illness, no matter the price. "Show them no mercy brother, not for what was done to me." She pulled her wand out from her pocket & stuck it in his as she kissed his cheek. "Rogue you will be to many, a hero to others, but you're my brother & nobody shall take you from me with my wand in your hands alongside your own. Now go... go Sebastian. Go find what is needed to save me."

Amit & the Diamonds of the Sky

"I am but one student, but my life is written among the stars."

Amit loved being outside, even the colder months, for stargazing. The boy had a mind of wonder & appreciation for those that came before in studying astronomy. The night sky, sadly, was slowly being taken over by the lights of humanity with the lanterns of fire & the glow from the wands when one cast "Lumos" in the darkest places. To him, the sky was to be an untouched beauty for all to see no matter the time of day.

A sky of diamonds, with her countless garments of colorful galaxies & nebulae upon her, held Amit's heart by nightfall. The universe held many secrets that he longed to find with Professor Shah & countless others. Planets, galaxies, constellations, even the chaos of stars & galaxies being born & dying out held sway in his mind. Humanity was but a tiny ant colony among the stars if other life was out there, but none would know if life existed elsewhere if one didn't try.

Amit was bound & determined to learn the secrets of the last frontier, but he wouldn't be alone, for it wasn't just the magical world that was curious, the muggles were just as curious as they were. Souls from both worlds would join Amit in due time, that much he knew for certain & he hoped that you would be one of the ones to join him under the sparkling skies to help him in that journey.

"In humanity's quest for gold, we will lose diamonds. We must NOT let such a tragedy happen, for our night sky is ever changing & every night, there are times when she blesses us with the most beautiful of shows. I do not understand why anyone would want to steal such a place of beauty. It make no sense to me, but I will not give up on such beauty. Our world is beautiful & our night sky is the most beautiful of all. Once the clouds break, stars shine & sometimes even the moon is revealed behind the dark veil on a cloudy night. Every night is a chance to see something unexpected & I want to be there when it happens."

In case y'all missed the announcement this morning, Hogwarts Legacy is officially getting a creation kit for modders to make mods for the game & the news has also been released in the official HL discord server!

As a mother & a mod maker that's still learning, this is a huge thing for me as they've already got a detailed instruction manual ready to go & is still being added to. I can't watch youtube videos due to my kid having ADHD & not self-entertaining very well, but the level of detail in those instructions is exactly what I need & what new mod makers need as well, especially the first-timers.

They've said that mods aren't being ported to the consoles.... for now. So, with that being said, that tells me that mods may be coming to the consoles like Skyrim's did at some point. However, good news is good news & if console players eventually get the mods as well, then that's a big yay for them too. ♥

Mod Update 1-7-2025

Amit's Closet mod has been started at long last!

My game engine has been successfully restored to full working order on the desktop, so I can now work on both it & my laptop as time allows.

Amit's closet will get done & uploaded to Nexus Mods as I finish the sets of outfits between the long sleeves, short sleeves & outfits with coats. I will do the short sleeve outfits last since that requires extra effort & I haven't had the time to fully buckle down on learning how to remove the hands to make the short sleeved outfits work.

What has kept me tied down from getting the closet started? Obviously, since I have a kid, it's the 2 weeks of winter break where they're out of school & me putting in extra hours at work since I don't have to adhere to the school schedule. Bills must be paid & the child must be tended to at all times when school is out & unfortunately, that means I had to give up modding & playing the game while the kid was out on Christmas break.

I've been lucky to get a little game time in today for these 3 screenshots & get Deek's mission of checking on Tobbs done with Amit in tow, so that's a good start for me. It's a tiny start, but a good one to say the least. ♥

That's it for the little update from me for right now & hopefully, I'll have more of his closet done by the weekend, especially if that winter storm blows in at the end of the week. I'll certainly have an excuse to stay home & mod in my Slytherin pjs, that's for sure.

Amit blatantly called a bunch of people out as cowards when he becomes your companion for Astronomy class & he's just... ignored? NO!! NO MORE! Him calling out the cowards is every bit as sassy as Ominis calling Salazar a maniac & I am here for it! Ravenclaw has one tough bird of prey in their house & Amit is it for certain!

Amit has joined Garreth, Ominis & Sebastian in the Autumn's Bane Mod, so if you're up for having Amit by your side in his first outfit mod, look no further. ♥ His closet will be done soon... sooner than you think.

So, the bookstore took all the books & I found the one book of a series that I was missing. I used some of my trade credits to get that missing book, but now I can get almost anything in the bookstore within the limit of trade credits I have. How did I get? Almost $50 worth for all 13 books. I had to travel an hour out to get to the bookstore that would take my books since the little bookstore here in town has over 1000 books that still need sorting through & the owner has stopped taking in books until those are sorted & shelved or donated. This nice thing about both stores? I have family in the city where the bigger store is that I traded the books in for & family in the little town where the small one is, so my family isn't left out at all if they want those books. The bigger bookstore had a bigger demand on the manga though & that Cardcaptor omnibus volume was a treasure find to them, so they were really happy to get it. ♥

♥ Heir's Blessing ♥ Good Hair ♥

Ft. Amit & Ominis

The Root Color, Dye Color, Tip Color Hair Color A & B are the 5 overrides used in making the hair colors you see upon Amit.

Black is what I used as the root color for both Autumn's Bane & Summer's End, a dark shade for the dye (in Amit's, a dark green) & then a bright color for the tips (in Amit's, a bright green, like sour apple or lime). The dye has to be the darker color & the tips a brighter shade of whatever you used for dye color. The darker shade is also Hair Color A while the brighter shade is Hair Color B. Making the eyebrows match is also an A & B override.

Ominis has all 5 of those overrides in his character data & you can totally copy the overrides & paste them to those that don't have em, then just monkey with the colors as you want. It's why I use him the most for the hair colors... but he is an heir & a good one anyway... so I'm making sure he's 100% helpful. ♥ Omi is gonna be the reason that everyone gets the best hair colors no matter what & nobody is ready for that fashion show.

Summer's End - Garreth Weasley

I told y'all that Garreth was joining the Slytherin boys in the Summer's End outfit. However, he comes with the same bonus as Sebastian with this mod & this is the only mod for Garreth that I've done so far with this little bonus. Garreth's version of the outfit also comes with him having blue eyes... just like Ominis. Summer's End, for Sebastian & Garreth, will include both of them having the same blue eyes as Ominis, so you'll get 3 blue-eyed with Summer's End.
